  • Quote from Kanadian: “What would you say if we proposed this as a mount for the Chosen Knights? 70206604_388514412068478_376313146006044672_n.jpg ” Don't know the size, but it looks very similar to the Forsaken One in appearance: 1000

  • All things considered, I'm quite happy with this update. For a tournament in December I've been thinking about taking an Noferatu colossal dragon, with a shrieking horror, winged reapers and spectral hunters. I've used a somewhat similar list before at a tournaments and it performed alright. I alway aim to avarege 10 pts per battle at tournaments and it was still possible with that list. Now the list got around 80 pts cheaper, which is nice. To me it feels like this update hit the net lists dece…

Thanks for the kind words guys @PTG-Lucky-Sixes Thanks, the metal turned out pretty well in the end. I'm happy with the sword, although the picture reveal that the transition is not as smooth as I had hoped. Also very happy with the armour just below the waist, I got a really good shine on those.

And here we go! But first, my finished Marshal, painted partly during my Paint Desk Ramblings episode with @PTG-Lucky-Sixes (you'll find a link to my channel in the signature): 27122-807c4b5d-large.jpg 27121-3c76ecca-large.jpg Really happy with the decision for his cloak. Was pondering doing it brown, but that felt boring. Grey was out of the question since he is already so grey thanks to his plate armour. This leopard skin allowed me to capture the yellow of the army, and gave him an exotic tou…

  • We got some names in the latest scroll: Quote from The 9th Scroll issue 17: “Tonight, we are going to witness the most brutal combat in the story of the Orclympics! Tonight, the Black Pikes and the Iron Boys, two of the most solid Broods competitors fight each other, for the Warlord Championship!! Are you ready? Quote from Kdownunder: “Still waiting that family pic, when you think you can manage it? ” Thanks for the poke, I need it Actually finished the last character I wanted to paint up before the group shot just recently, so if the weather allows it I'll take some pics this weekend.

  • Quote from WastelandWarrior: “your vermin warband looks awesome, I really love the roman style shields ” Thanks! I am going with a heavy roman theme for the army, inspired by the fluff of course. Btw, there are more pics of the warband in my blog (accessible via my signature (through the EoS blog)).

  • I just wrote up a narrative report for my latest Skirmish Campaigns battle, with my new Vermin Swarm warband: Logbook of the Heirs of Avras By Edouard Wagner V8QFldLQcNNlOP2-Q-0unfPxVJtLgkKlf7YQfsJmoQmFhqfdIgoG1nJA8JFxdTpBcVqigco9lRooUiNOZOlYY_E-nN-fvJyt9qBtrxqNayGpEQzBGGjzwJe5TmDRdZqplquczYN0bg=w2400 Entry from 1stof Acrober, 962 A.S. Avras! I never thought I’d see it again! But in my wildest dreams I could never have imagined it would be under these conditions. The Senator said he wanted to ma…

  • Quote from Karak Norn Clansman: “ Artisan's Contest XXVIII is up now, with deadline being the 31st of October. This contest is about writing Chaos Dwarf skirmish warband rules! The happy occasion is Age of Sigmar: Warcry, but as ever we're open to all wargames, settings and editions under the sun. Prizes are up for grabs, as ever (Bonestingers are a random draw prize): ” I have rules for ID warbands written for The 9th Age: Skirmish Campaigns. Would those be okay to enter?

  • A bit of a shameless plug, but I made an episode with @PTG-Lucky-Sixes where we chat a bit about growing the community. We go on for a while and ramble about various things, but it feels fairly relevant to this topic. Check it out if you are interested youtu.be/Ch4Kj4ae1Ro

Quote from Hal: “Loving the empirial robes and con-conformity rat skin/fur colours. All very unique with loads of charaacter. ” Thank you! The fur it probably what I am most pleased with. It took some times but I feel that I've figured out how to paint their fur and faces to bring out the cuteness. Will keep working o bringing in more variations on those that show a lot of fur, such as the brighter chin on the Senator.

  • A small thought. Many seem to like the idea to give goblins some sort of bonus when fighting in the rear or flank, but others feel that this is wasted since getting a flank charge with a big unit of goblins is so rare. Maybe a solution could be to apply this bonus (whatever it is), to all goblins in a combat as long as long as at least one of your units is engaged in the flank or rear. So if you charge your raiders into the flank and your bus into the front, both get the bonus. The reasoning bei…

Finally! It took way too long, but I've finally managed to complete some models for this army. I had to figure out how to do their bases and shields, but now I feel happy about that. The shields I painted up while recording my latest episode of Paint Desk Ramblings, which you can check out here: youtu.be/-W-PJTzel5k Sadly, I only had stands for 8 out of 10 shields, so two of the rats were left out, but here is the rest of the gang, all finished up: nDEXGytjildHHfW253TCbU10meWy_OXDvj30EMBDkF3o5a3…
