  • Quote from Herminard: “Quote from JamesMcDonnell: “Shooting at the parts that wont be fighting so they have to choose where the magic goes is interesting. Seems obvious now you say it but never thought of it like that before. ” You would be surprised how many of my mad lists actually have some thought behind them. Wait.. we did play.. didnt we? ” We did indeed. Was delighted to have the pleasure of being ripped apart by your Greenskin hordes. It was a pleasure and I look forward to our next batt…

  • Quote from Herminard: “Quote from Henrypmiller: “@Furion Why dont you shoot the shabti/cataphratcs with the reapers? I can understand that the healing is good enough to negate the shots that go through, but surely 3 SGR are enough to dent a unit or two. Cant the UD player just heal the arc in the same way on the small chance that you manage 2-3 wounds? ” The Ark of Ages gets the res value of the Death Cult Hierach right? So just 1? So the UD player needs to get 3 spells off with heal values for …

  • Quote from Rubert: “I think that this special item is great, but I feel that most people just take it for the 18’ bubble effect, and not really using the vanguard/feigned flight rule. If you do use them both, how? In which unit? I thought about putting the BSB on a 45ish cave goblin unit, with 3 Mad gits (and the Banner of the relentless company)to give them vanguard. If I take first turn, I move the BSB back to another goblin bunker behind, and pop the banner to march the cave goblins right int…

  • Quote from Squirrelloid: “An off-the-wall suggestion: how do ID feel about mechanically enhancing dwarves? The Taurukh process suggests their culture doesn't particularly revere bodily integrity, so some dwarves might volunteer to replace body parts with mechanical pieces. Alternately, mechanical limbs could be replacements for those lost due to injury. Such technology is certainly within the sphere of fantasy steampunk, and we already have exoskeleton suits for weapon teams. I don't know if thi…
