Quote from Borjnfer Wraith: “I was not referring to the ability to play 9th, I was referring to the political climate in Ca. Where I am now the closest players I can find are over an hour and a half away, ( at 75 mph!) ” That's awesome for you, I gotta drive 320 miles!

Quote from piteglio: “Quote from infamousme: “Makes zero sense to me, but to each their own ” i'll admit that for someone who does not know the back story, this is veeery puzzling: Quote from Borjnfer Wraith: “Az was still to close to Ca for me ” i mean, is Ca that bad?! ” I'm from the same town in SoCal and have conversed with Dave on many occassions. The answer to your 2nd question is no, not at all. Especially northern San Diego county

  • Quote from WarX: “Quote from unstaible child: “im actuly tempted to design my own dwarf models and ither 3d print em or something else ” There are super cheap UV Resin printers available - around 400e for superior quality. Only con is that this resin is highly toxic, so you need dedicated room for this ” splurge a little, get plant based resin. No where near as gnarly.

  • Quote from WarlordHU: “I present the coat of arms of Roland Du Morraine: imgur.com/a/3a36dHQ Hand drawn and painted. Roland du Morraine is the grandson of Wladyslaw, who was born in Equitaine. He spent some time in the northen territories around Zmayevatz, so he experienced some of the asklander raids. His father became the duke of Morraine, a small duchy along the Wyscan forest. Roland himself went on a quest while his father was governing the lands. His quest lead back north, into asklander te…

Quote from piteglio: “quality over speed - i am in! one last question then: do you do physical sculpting (e.g. with greenstuff) or do you do computer modelling? actually, computer modelling could be just as fast as the photographic workflow. for a preview of the expectable results, the daemon "just" an obj/png file, while the dwarf is a metal miniature (by Admiralty Miniatures): the-ninth-age.com/community/ga…263cb59d56b16da401b0fe523” my office is 5 minutes from my house, went home on lunch and…

PS: LJ, you know that that way of sculpting/painting is on my list, right? and by the way: Shad's brother?! wha…

@piteglio Miniatures are an essential part of the enjoyment for me. 3d minis, 3d terrain, I get so little time to game that I will not waste what little time I have on an unfulfilling experience. It's why I dont give in and go play AOS or Killteam, both of which i could probably easily find opponents for. It's why I'd drive a 600 mile round trip to play a game against an opponent with a fully painted army and nice terrain (I'm also usually driving down to Colorado for... other reasons as well ) …

Quote from piteglio: “Quote from joel127: “Quote from piteglio: “i find it very appropriate that, during a time where the forum discusses once again the use of "proper" miniatures, both the spearhead of digital T9A and the sculptor/painter himself did not recognise that this is "just" a 2D miniature, created with a single photograph... ” For our defense, without stereoscopic vision a picture of a model looks just the same as a 3d model with a texture from a picture ” and that's precisely what i …

I went 300 miles south to Colorado this last weekend amd those motherf*****s still have green lawns and streets clear of condense ice Our final snow of the last snow season was june 21st and our 1st was before september 14th as I remember telling the guys down at mayhem in the mountains in Denver, that it had started snowing up here already.

Quote from jirga: “Thanks all. I need to wait untill that tree bark is dry. I picked them up from outside and it's been raining few days now so they were thoroughly wet. That keeps the PVA glue from drying too. So that base is a bit wobbly still. Character is pinned on the base though so he'll stay on once the bark has dried up properly. I was just too anxious to put it all together and couldn't wait until the base was properly dry. ” just raining? It's been snowing here for 2 months already and…
