  • i have no problem with R2 on skinks, and I Don t think R3 would help them much, but what I Do miss is skirmishing skinks in core.     another question about manifestations: If I have 2 harbingers with broodmother in the same unit, and both manage to do 3 wounds, triggering broodmother, then their units gets raised twice,as the manifestation belongs to the harbinger, and each effect gets triggered individualy, healing the same unit. Or not?

    i often use 30 myrmidons with hatred and red haze harbinger, 7 wide. That is 18 hits, 15 wounds, 10HP lost for WO first round, plus what the harb does, he has incendiary for self protection, should Do another 2 wounds. They loose 12 myrmidons, but next round WO are gone, If I get the charge it even works better due to battle focus. Or If I go 8 wide especially to kill WO, 30 attacks, 26 hits, 22 wounds, 14-15 HP lost... WO can be killed easily enough with some setups.

    how does hiding in a unit and vanguard fit together? If I deploy My characters, I can put them anywhere and vanguard from there, I Don t need to hide before vanguard, as it happens before the first round of shooting or magic.

    i use the pale horse to support fiends with digestive vomit, a unit of sirens is also there to give the harbinger a save haven afterwards or to carry him through shooting first round. With a couple of sirens, once digestive vomit is spent, I still have a very mobile caster left. It also works with red haze, but the harbinger needs to stay with the fiends, so this is more dangerous.

    The price raise comes from throne of the oracle change to dark pulpit, that is a buff. And yes, third eye has almost no impact, so I would have never paid for it, but I don't complain as it is for free now.

    it is a gimmick, the few times - like once every other game - when it really changes your movement phase are not worth points, but for free, no problem.

    problem with 3rd eye is most of the time i march because of the situation on the board, and the 1 die more in magic phase usually does not compensate the disadvantage of not marching. So you march him anyway.

    The GDs are pretty close to being playable IMO, the courtesan has a nice concept, it is still a bit too expensive, maybe around 500p things are OK. The scourge is also useable, I actually like his concept, he might need to come down another 20 or 30p, that should be it. The only thing with the scourge is his fly rule, that should be optional, to give the army more flexibility with harbingers manifestations. Maw still has a problem surviving in melee, I would like to see a rule like "bigger than …

    I tried paired weapons, essence of mithril, king slayer, talisman of shielding and blessed wrappings yesterday, and it worked pretty good, decent protection vs "normal" stuff, and enough wounds to survive 2 rounds vs most characters (I faced a saurus warlord with spear and death cheater, survived with 1 wound left). Problem is neither divine nor flaming attacks, but 6+ attacks vs characters with S6+ is nice.
