  • Quote from Konrad von Richtmark: “Alright @Greven, poke me if you don't hear from me in a while. I'm not currently living in the place where my stash is, and I might forget, as I have quite a lot on my mind at the moment. ” will do

  • Quote from Konrad von Richtmark: “If you want to use GW products but don't mind slightly older ones, you could use those plastic Greatsword bodies together with armoured sword and shield arms from the 6th edition infantry command sprue and the knightly orders box. Many longtime players should have spare bitz of those, I certainly do. If interested, I could look at my stash and see what I might have to spare. ” that actually sounds like an awesome plan

It is not so much what I want, but that I wonder if such a project has been started. By such project I am referring to cards for magic items and perhaps aura based automatic buffs

yes much like the flux or spell cards, but do we know if someone is organizing anything like this or are people using the magic card generator at home only?

Since we really discussing a multi purpose tool here, does anyone know if there is work being done on producing cards for special items?

  • Quote from proofyeq: “Pretty much what he said. It will give you the standard EoS list which is tried and true. I would go with spearmen/halbadiers heavy infantry over Knights if your looking for a well rounded army. ” what are the 2-3 staple EoS lists looking like now after adjustments for 205? Quote from Kruber: “Quote from Greven: “So Please help me out with a shopping list for a 4500pts well rounded army list ” CharactersBSB, prelate or two, wizard Core ~40 halberdiers or pike(spear)men or 1…

  • Quote from Kruber: “If you go historical/realistic proportions way look for Perry miniatures/Warlord Landsknechts. Really cheap, but you'll have to kitbash some units. You could also go heroic proportions with GW, Momminiaturas, Last Sword, Avatars of War, Norba miniatures... Some are expensive, some are cheaper and they generally don't mix well with historicals. As @Marcos24 already said, check the models thread for pictures to get better idea what you'd like. ” Due to various reasons Im bound t…

  • Quote from Marcos24: “If I were in your shoes, knowing what I know, I’d scroll through the many pages Models for EoS thread, a lot of people have posted starter sets and bundles there ” I will give it a shot

  • So Please help me out with a shopping list for a 4500pts well rounded army list

  • Nice inputs! Are the core cav really a thing? Are they not just something you hide until last turn and go scoring with? Also, are heavy inf with sword and shield the least useful option?

I haven't looked in depth at the battlescribe files but the data is there, the question is how to translate it to the much simpler data that would be required for this.

  • Quote from Kruber: “Here's how @micdicdoc did it. I went the same way. the-ninth-age.com/community/ga…0e13b185122e34e492776806e ” basically buy two boxes and discard the greatswords arms and the normal trooper bodies?

Quote from Iluvatar: “Maybe this could be used to generate cards automatically? ” That would produce basic cards for the units, I see a step further where you could define a datasource based on official data that says something along the lines of unit of type X with Y options added. That card could then be re-generated whenever data gets updated and then you have a personalized statcard specifically for your 40block of longhorns. Quote from Iluvatar: “Quote from Zikum: “Hi, If you want you can e…

Yes, the app is a chore to use and it has some easy to find areas of improvement. I've been busy with other things for the longest time, and I do not know when I'll have time to continue work here, but I've got a list of things that I want to implement. A central repository of base stats, as well as the data of your finished card is certainly one thing that could be implemented, storing complete cards could really be a legal issue so I don't see that as very likely. Creating backsides and aligni…

  • So, I am about to rectify the fact that I sold my Empire minis some years ago in an attempt to find a more appealing army. I will be buying mostly new plastic from GW, but in a few areas here in my region wysiwyg is the law so how on earth do i find matching minis for Imperial Guard with sword and shield? The obvious choice of going with what is now called Freeguild guards, won't satisfy the plate armour aspect of the wysiwyg, nor will the Greatswords do since they have neither handweapon or shi…
