    Interesting question regarding LD, should ld9 cold-blooded be available? Reason I bring this up is that after having two games in a row where my Cuatl and bunker decided screw this noise and panicked off on CB 8 with a reroll, I checked and ld8 CB is actually worse than straight LD 10 with or without a reroll. It's about 10% fail without a reroll and 1% with. Is LD9 CB too much for just the general?

  • Just some friendly advice when designing/proposing units, do your design and then try to break it. Eg. Scorpion warrior skinks, even at 20ppm, units of 10 of them would be an auto pick and 4 units would be a nightmare for most armies to play against(40 s4 ap1 flaming, hitting on 3s combined with 4 units that vanguard and feigned flight). If you think a list that maxed out on your new unit crushes a standard orc/empire list or just gives them little to no chance to actually play then it might be …

  • Dont see how just giving it telepathic link and maybe the H spell as a bound wouldnt be balanced for 30-40pts but I'm sure you had reasons. That's basically a bad stygiosaur but a bit cheaper. I'm a huge fan to telepathic link(still hoping for a 20pt artefact that gives the rule to the bearer) but I'm aware I'm in the minority. Can't really see the giants out competing stegs in the army though.

    I believe its a combination of fluff and monstrous infantry in general not getting access to them outside OK. Honestly I cant remember the exact justification given the last time we asked for it but it was a firm no. May of course change when the LAB comes around.

Griffon died embarrassingly a couple of times but that was luck or user error more than anything else so I'm not quite ready to drop him after his sterling showing games 5&6. Artillery was a disappointment most games and probably the units I'm closest to dropping. Not sure what I'd replace them with.
