  • Quote from Mr.RiZZaH: “@duxbuse It's done, give it a go: war.nerfed.space/ There's a few more improvements coming to the system, but all should be fine for now. 4 player = good 5 player = good (gets a few tweaks behind the screen, but shouldnt be noticeable) 8 player = coming soon (wednesday-ish) ” Works well! One thing I just found is the copy results link does not work, it says pairing does not exist.

  • Quote from Casp: “@Karanadon They are great , did you took some photo a bit more zoomed ? ” If you follow the links to the albums there are multiple photos of each army

Quote from Sander: “Interesting to see and read all your progress! My gaming group is getting their toes wet, as in maybe buying a printer too. I currently look at anycubic photon or newer variant anycubic photon s. Your printer is on another pricepoint. Can you tell me why you selected it and how you think it compares to anycubic printer? ” I'm lucky in that I was able to get the printer for work, and use it after hours for my own projects! My friend has the original photon, which has been hit …

Quote from Hombre de Mundo: “Hey, I recognize these images @Karanadon do you work with 3D modeling software at all? Or thought about getting into it? ” I can do very very basic things in meshmixer, like cutting large models into smaller pieces for printing. And a little bit of digital kit bashing, but no actual sculpting. I tried teaching myself blender in the past but I don't think my mind works that way. I can do 3D CAD geometric drawings, but organic things just don't work! Wish I could thoug…

@Marcos24 Nice looking prints! Where are the STLs from if you don't mind me asking? @Damo There are a lot of printing services around the world, but honestly it's getting more and more accessible for people to get into. Entry level resin printers are now less than $250 USD and they are super easy to use.

Continuing on, I printed some chaff in the form of Furies. There was only a single pose, but they die fast enough for me not to worry haha. These were also from Schlossbauer: thingiverse.com/thing:3819842 oCdN5cY5l12RVBsTgkjfvqz5_g299ImjqIzhTadIBcxkcyDaVH7p8UZvScq-htgWMZIwmxJj10jLIEmBG-4Q-pfyaDBk4Y1fxGv4KotqMVUKzayIocSih5oLBAtlE6phqVYX-uq32w=w2400 And some more pseudo-chaff, threshing engines. It was difficult to find chariot type models, so I envisioned it more of a threshing beast. This was fr…

Hey everyone, thought I would start a blog to detail my journey through 3d printing armies for T9A. I'm a big advocate for this new way of hobbying, which is a hobby within a hobby! I've seen people on the internet saying it's lazy, and hurting GW (lol!), but for T9A it is perfect! It takes a lot of time and effort to get great prints, and most of the models I print are paid files which supports other independent sculptors and smaller companies. My printer is a Peopoly Moai, and I print most thi…

  • Quote from Ctuchik: “Anyone have a 3d printable one? Looked on thingiverse but not sure what to search for. ” I can knock one up for you. Edit: Done! thingiverse.com/thing:4230157

  • As someone with 2 fully printed armies, it's definitely "A" way forward but not "THE" way forward. Yes we should include links to 3D files for those interested, but as it stands the very process of printing an army is a full hobby in and of itself. I can fully understand that people don't want to learn new techniques and just want their models to come on a sprue ready to go, just like they normally do. I will be continuing to advocate for more widespread 3D printing in the hobby in general thoug…

  • Update with painted models! Printer is offline over the holidays but will get back into it once I return to work oECzz5c.jpg r4haUVI.jpg voVsyZY.jpg

  • @kelvenmore The file was printed hollow to save on resin, and as the resin is semi transparent you can see inside. One of my friends joked that I should use clear resin and try and put a victim inside! @Shukran The files are all from "Schlossbauer" on Thingiverse: thingiverse.com/schlossbauer/about I've also come across the perfect model for the Strixian spirit Sentinel of Nukuja: featured_preview_Ker_pic.png

  • So I've been toying with a new fully 3D printed army, and have settled on DL! As a trial I printed a few things: iV9y54i.jpg The two on the outside will be Imps, and the center one will be an Eidolon. oamPvxE.jpg Giant Engine of Damnation! Fits beautifully on a 150x100 base.

Could use for two different armies? Some other good designers on Thingiverse: M3DM Schlossbauer Vi…

  • Do it! I 3d printed an entire army of bananas and other assorted vegetables for an ogre Khan army. Not everyone's piece of cake, but makes the point that it's possible. Liy1JnW.jpg Check out bigmrtong on thingiverse for beast herds models, I think he has some that would work.

  • Awesome, thanks guys! Models are ordered and on their way, bases are being laser cut along with some rulers with mini-inches on!
