In short that are pegasus value with more wounds as trade off and higher S.

so you already limit new unit possibilities like hippogryph knights with this argument. Pegasus knights hard to kill? Are you kidding? Not on a armor 2+ and wardsave unit.2 wounds are enough. Pegasus are already hard to kill.Add easy access to mr and target on top.

I have talked with some people, and I doubt very much we will get Hippogriph Knights. Sorry Don't kill the messenger.so you already limit new unit possibilities like hippogryph knights with this argument. Pegasus knights hard to kill? Hopefully, it will be allowable by adding a Smaller Hippogriff version with a statline reduced to Restricted to HP 3, Res 4, and Armour 3 or 4. Don't forget, Hippogriffs are also Towering Presence and unless a War Platform, you cannot have models with Towering Presence in a unit which I believe means no units of Towering Presence models. Maybe as single model unit entries.
And what happened to the very nice unit presented in a 9th scroll? The black knight? Monstrous infantry if I recall properly. With fun rules.

well, knights mounted on young hippogryphs fit very well to army. You think they are uber? How? We have different opinions about uber or op units. In 9th age +1 strength is OP. Other armies have more powerful things (ogres are core in ogre army and have 3 wounds). but why koe must have weakest things as possible? Army needs centrepiece unit and hippogryph knights are good choice. We cannot depend on characters in everything on the battlefield.
Besides, hippogryph knights are monstrous cavalry and fit to army's cavalry theme.
If you really need heavy 3 wounds pegasi then name them as Great Pegasus or whatever you like.
Other armes gets nice toys but not koe, why?
Balance is very poor answer for this.
KoE are heroic knights rising against the odds and killing the monster. This is why knights are much stronger than their mounts and the reason why only the Duke can ride a Hipogryphon. The rider is the main focus, not the steed.
A strong monster that overshadows the knight goes strongly against the Knightley ideals.
