The latest issue of the 9th Scroll is here! You can read all about it in the news.

These are the rules we are implementing for a Grand Alliance Battle coming up in Southern California. It is "Forces of Order" vs. "Forces of Destruction" scenario (with all the army types almost evenly distributed, so that there are no "non-alligned" armies to choose from). Enjoy and let me know if you have any positive feedback! The rules are already set, so I can't change much, especially in regards to scenarios, but I can make tweaks if something looks really disadvantageous for one of the armies.

I feel like the Most Expensive unit controls the objective rules kinda encourages Deathstars a bit?
    Might be intentional, yeah?

I'd probably go with the standard "Most Flags nearby" so you can still mob the objective but not just park a super-unit on it and call it a day x 4

Do allied characters still bestow their special rules on armies from different armies that they join (Such as the ID Overlord's Fan The Flames) and do other buffs also apply to allied armies?

Thanks for the input and questions! The total points per player is only 1750, so the deathstars will probably be lackluster. Also, with the new rules and meta, we've found that basing objectives captured by banners very much so favors a few different armies over others. Also, note that the "power" of a unit is based off of remaining points in the unit, so it's not total points from when the unit started, so deathstars are just as vulnerable.

And yes, any character can join any unit. Obviously that can make for some insane combos, but with the options being fairly endless, it's kind of a fun situation for everyone to equally brainstorm about and exploit.

Ah, that is fair enough. Didn't know the points value.
