  • Quote from casamar: “And lastly, when a unit is in combat front to front, but the second rank is incomplete and only some files are in base to base. Do the models in the second rank slide across so they can attack, or do they stay in place? Not moving until a combat reform? ” They do not slide but they attack across the gap Quote from casamar: “Awesome thanks, next question, does the occultism sacrifice benefit from the plus 6 range from arcane knowledge on a vampire? ” no (same with focussed ve…

  • Quote from Galharen: “Will the Lion's Fur be eventually viable for the Lion Chariot character? Noone fixed the bug "if on foot only", didn't it? ” I think it was not a bug but rather intentional decision to nerf him

  • Quote from manfread: “Quote from Lagerlof: “Quote from manfread: “A Great Khan is armed with Khagadai’s Legacy Attacks made with this weapon gain Multiple Wounds (D3) and become Magical Attacks. and also having the big name Trolleater The bearer gains Fortitude (4+) and Multiple Wounds (2,against Large and Infantry). and he i attacking a Large Infantry . he scores 1 wound.. that wound will be 2 +D3 or just 2 or just D3 or player choice ? ” Special rules don't stack (normally). Chose which one to…

  • @Kuyp the fact that you still carry on after being shown the exact rule, which not only allows it but also mandates it shows that either you are trolling or your reading comprehension is non existent. In both cases discussion with you is pointless.

Quote from berti: “Stomp....being an additional kind of autohits should be taken out completely. Because it is near impossible to reflect stomps or vulnerability to stomps in a fair way in point costs. Impact hits on charge, no problem. THis is equal to all kind of targets and can be priced. Grinding attacks (another offender in my opinion because it devalues all kinds of WS) can also be priced fair because they work against everything. Stomps only working against "small" targets can´t be priced…

  • @Kuyp levels of audacity you are presenting are off the charts - telling ETC ref that he doesn't know the rules is quite a stupid move. None the less I will take time to explain it to you: first of all all your rule related arguments are moot as when you are marking unit position and checking possible ways to place it you are not moving it, you are just planning the move using models as aides for it. Then you declare if you are done with it or not and after it is done you have moved it. Technica…

  • Quote from Kuyp: “Number one is complete garbage, and i mean that with all politeness.... ” First of all you are not polite, and then on top of that wrong. Playing with makers is way cleaner precise and less prone to both errors and cheating.

  • Quote from Pellegrim: “the relation between ” Which probably doesn't exist. All the guys that I knew in 8th, that used to stomp people with netlists, stopped playing T9A since netlist stomping just stopped working and you actually have to play the game to win and not just push models and roll dice with your OP list.

Quote from Etheneus: “I love it! Two questions: 1. Is your flowers made out of birch seed? 2. Where did you get all the wings? ” If you are talking about leaves on vines then they are done using GreenStuffWorld leaf punches out of paper. The vines themselves are made from string soaked in superglue. Small flowers on bases are some plant I found near the sea and just painted it Wings come from WH40K Dark Eldar Scourges. These are the same wings I used for my vampire spawn models earlier in this t…

  • Quote from Marcos24: “Makes sense, it seems that WHF would cater more to WAAC players due to obviously stronger choices ” Not only that but also rules filled with exploitable holes

  • Quote from Just_Flo: “And what has cheating to do with hardcore lists? ” I do not get it too. I think some people here are mixing cheaters with people who play well.

  • @Anselmus not sure how big is your local scene but I have met tons of casual players at tournaments. Sure I run into one or two pro players sometimes but I also run into lots super casual players who come to the events to meet people and roll dice with them. Also, at least in my experience, if you get stomped by someone good they are usually eager to point out some mistakes you made which help you play better.

  • Quote from CariadocThorne: “What the OP is talking about is not skill-based. It's about average (or worse) skilled players bringing the latest net-list to stomp casual lists. ” Ahh, I think I didn't get that. Good thing that this doesn't work anymore. Mediocre player will fail hard with pro player list most of the time because you really have to know how to use lists. I have seen low skill players trying to use pro lists (like MSU DH which was list that best Polish player of 2018 used) and they …

  • I do not understand the issue - someone was better and won, it doesn't seem to be surprising. Imho what matters is that after a battle, or even during it, the better player could try to explain the mistakes to weaker one possibly with some proposals on how to fix their game or list. I would find it extremely patronizing if someone purposefuly wasn't playing well against me because I am weaker. Also doing it severely reduces the possibility for weaker players to learn. To sum up I think that the …
