You aren't stupid - I am happy to help 65€, yes (afaik there are retailers in the US as well) but I guess @oncebitten360 or @Vince Venturella would know more about such things

I think you will see what you need on image #6 don't you? ( the-ninth-age.com/gallery/userImages/25/11912-2564a10d.jpg ) I feel a bit uncomfortable to spam @Dans thread full. We should likely take this elsewhere and keep the discussion here about rats

Well, there are roughly 30 pictures of the case + the inside, are you interested in something specific that isn't shown on the pics?

Quote from Fleshbeast: “Keen to see this fabled magnetic solution as the foam experience gets old real quick... ” Your wish is my command Foreword I am travelling quite a lot with my miniatures and therefore a transport solution for my miniatures has to satisfy multiple demands: - being able to transport multiple armies - resilient to weather influences - shock absorbing - usable for storage - acceptable weight and most importantly as I got really tired of picking out hundreds of zombies from fo…

I am using a solution with magnets as well, all models are "ready to be played" on movement trays already and can easily be put out and put back again - I spent just too long on painting DE and HBE to let them fly loosely through a box xD

You definitely need a better transport solution for your beautiful models @Dan If you are interested in ideas how to transport a ton of models without the need to pick them out of foam one at a time than I could fotograph my own transport solution as inspiration

  • Quote from jimmygrill: “Pfff, bitte... Joker spielt nicht, er LÄSST spielen ” Hahahaha - ich glaube ich komme wirklich mal nach München, komme ohnehin viel zu wenig zum Spielen Notfalls muss ich halt mal ein Turnier in Salzburg organisieren, damit ich den Münchnern etwas nähergelegenes anbieten kann als Wien, Steiermark und Kärnten

  • A mage on a raptor is very similar to a mage on a steed - the difference is mostly more defense is traded in for mobility. Therefore I think that at least DE and HBE are very similar in that regard. I agree though that the situation for SE is very different. Do you have any specific questions you are interested in besides the general discussion left?

  • Why do you think Reavers should be an ideal bunker for Mages? They never have been. Furthermore if you want the protection, than you can get it - nobody is forcing you to purchase it. Moreover what do you think a free reform steed will cost? Even if such an option existed it wouldn't be free either. @key argument: if the unit that you use as bunker isn't designed to see combat than you don't need additional protection to begin with. And as I stated before SE are certainly a special case because …

  • Because free reform is and should be something special and not handed out like candy. For SE it would likely be the most fitting out of the armies mentioned. You might disagree but we won't see free reform on a wide array of mages as it stands now.

  • The underlying issue is more about the viability of the bus carrying the Mage and not that the Mage has an issue. If the key argument is that mounted wizards should be viable in units that are destined to see combat (like lancers) you need: a) a Mage that isn't instantly dead in case of being in close combat b) a bunker that is actually desirable to play and to some amount c) some sort of miscast protection to not blow up your bus I think with 2.0 this will be possible (unrelated to a specific a…

  • First, the RT is not pushing any price point up. Pricing is in over 90% of the cases done by BLT without any RT interference. If I understand you correctly than you are a) generally disappointed by the effect/cost ratio of wizards b) think that wizards are currently too expensive and will be even more expensive with 2.0 and c) think that we will see a lot of wizardless armies If you want to talk about pricing I suggest that you talk to the BLT. In general I disagree that wizards are over costed …

  • If the argument is that you have to pay for defence and don't get it for free than I have to admit that the RT will not have a solution for your problem. If in your opinion the only solution is to give elf Mages free reform than I neither agree with your assessment nor think that you will see a change in this regard. I have seen A LOT of mounted wizards in cav bunkers / breakers (including HBE, DE, VC and many more) - it used to be a heavily played concept and neither one of them had free reform…

  • Similar to know there will be Magic Resistance (in another form) and the Mage will be able to buy decent protective equipment so that getting into close combat isn't automatically resulting in his imminent death

  • Why do you think that lancers are a bad bunker if the Mage can buy solid defensive equipment?

  • If mages can buy a solid defence than light troops is not necessary. Light troop mages often enable shooty avoidance builds and we have made an effort to contain them to a bearable level. Furthermore there will always be mounts / no mount options that see more play than other options because of the dynamic of the army. I don't think an absolute equilibrium is achievable.

  • The rules team constantly has discussions on how to lower the entry barrier - not only the quick starter has to be easily playable but our main game as well. Our target audience actually likes complexity over all - many gamers that want simpler or more one dimensional games are drawn to AoS and KOW. I mean no offence if I say simpler - it is just a matter of preference how deep you want to go with your tabletop system - chess is from a rule perspective very simple as well and still one of the mo…

  • 2.0 will bring better protection for wizards as it stands now - I can't go into specifics as this is PR territory but we are making an effort to give players the option to field wizards in units that will see combats (classic example would be a HBE wizard in an elite infantry elf unit) if they are willing to spend points in defensive equipment.
