  • Quote from Stygian: “Quote from Casp: “Case 1: - Can not charge because a friendly unit blocks contact. ” Case 1 looks like who ever was driving those friendlies screwed up. Maybe they deserve it. ” Did this a couple of times at the ETC cause of combat reforms and thus preventing any charges. So no, sometimes you can really abuse this. Greetings, Kathal

  • Jep, it will get better when all guys are on the bases, but you will still have that issue Greetings, Kathal

  • In my opinion, yes. Why? Cause when I look at the picture with the Musician on the base in the unit base my eyes are automatically drawn to the bases and not the model, since they offer more contrast and are "brighter" and thus are a bigger eye catcher. Besides this, since the models you are using are rather "slim", they barely cover the bases when you look at them. Compare them to the Chaos Warriors from GW, they cover close to 80% of the bases and thus even those flashy bases wouldn't draw the…

  • Quote from Casp: “@Klexe I agree this is pretty boring, and blocked path could not solve the issue. But this is not the only case frustrating. think lot already was seen in the suggestion forum. Look at this one too: Case 1: - Can not charge because a friendly unit blocks contact. case_1.gif - Home rules 1: When charging an unit, you can ignore friends units in contact with opponent for the movement. The unit should be able to complete its charge movement (after closing the gate wheel) in a corr…

  • Dude, you really need to make a tutorial for the skin of the Musician I have been trying to get exactly this sort of colour scheme since a couple of months, but I never got anything working. Greetings, Kathal

  • Quote from imperialengineer: “@Kathal It was mentioned that the basic giant design is complete. It would be great if someone (don't wantbto put all the spoiler work on just you) could share it...... ” Hmm, will ask the PR team Though, I will go on a "real" vacation for a month, so you can be more than sure, that I won't be the guy who does the next spoilers Greetings, Kathal

  • As a note, in 8th it was even worse in this aspect and finding a clear solution is a little bit iffy, from a clear rules writing perspective without enabling more abuse. Greetings, Kathal

  • Quote from Klexe: “Blocked path didnt work as a terrain piece is blocking me and not enemy units ” Hmm, thought, that it also worked for terrain Imo, should get added, cause it would fix issues like those. Greetings, Kathal

  • Quote from JeroBeam: “Quote from Kathal: “Designing an army-specific Racial Trait Spell or Attribute. For more information either wait for the next issue or read the background informations in the latest Scroll. ” Does that mean, that in 2.0 every Army will have her own specific Racial Trait Spell or an Attribute? ” What the wise guy said above me. Greetings, Kathal

  • Quote from Ulricpriest: “When it comes to changes in movement I hope somebody remembers to remove those ridiculous situations where a unit is in clear line of sight and well within range of an enemy but isn't allowed to charge because they are in the flank of the target and there is no space in that area to place the attacking unit (e.g. because of a building). At least the option to then charge into the front should be permitted. To me this is so obviously wrong that it should be hot patched ri…

  • Quote from noir: “I really don’t like the wheel changes they seem sooooo complicated! But I’m cool with the rest! ” The "complicate" part is the same as now since no model can move farther than their 2x Movement value. For measuring the actual wheel, it is a big simplification. Quote from imperialengineer: “Curious if you can reveal how things like riders on wyverns and griffons fall in the size and model type categories. Maybe large, cavalry with "head above shoulders" providing the leadership …

  • Quote from Marchosias: “Out of curiosity, is there going to be a rework of the rules for breaking of combat and fleeing? I have the feeling there has to be a better way than the current one. ” Funny enough, there is currently a discussion about this going on. Quote from berti: “new line of sight rules seem to me like another warmachine nerf....or should I say a buff to those warmachines that are not infantry. New rules of sight make mortars and stone throwers not work against their intended targ…

  • Quote from Pellegrim: “that was quick! So impenetrables, houses and hills? ” I'm always quick Yeah, basically. Greetings, Kathal

  • Quote from Pellegrim: “PS What is opaque terrain? Which ones are opaque? ” Terrain, where you cannot see through. Should have used a different word there Greetings, Kathal

The armies relevant to my brother and I are SA, WDG, and DE, but I don't want to derail this thread or anything with you guys helping me out. I assume this stuff is actually easy to find and I just don't navigate the site enough to come across it, haha. ” No problem man Btw. the next BTS blog will go live in 12 mins Greetings, Kathal

I just want to clarify something. In theory it WOULD be possible to release them every week, but the content in them would be more than lacking + the whole structure would be horrible to work within. Greetings, Kathal

Quote from KeyserSoze: “@Kathal man you scare me sometimes ” Now the scary part, it was already worse (ABC/AS time, roughly 60-80h PER WEEK, and no, I didn't have a social life back than (and Alcohol doesn't count as "social life")). Greeitngs, Kathal
