Like you, I do not agree with that, but knowing T9A a little, they are not very flexible in optimilisation …

  • I think he'll take on the Dwarf king any day. Chance of him getting wounds back is small (4+ 4++) and with sloth he'll do the dwarf lord next round; if not the first round.

  • With Idol of Spite he lands 3 wounds 2 and ends with roughly 4 I think. But potentially killing the lord in one round. Sloth will stack in in round 2. Think he might be able to take paired weapons also? Or is that not possible?

  • I would not draw any conclusion actually. The "wow look changes" effect is way to influential atm. Wait 2 years and see. Also, it is not possible to make all units perfectly balanced. This is due to different role and different preferences. Don't forget immersion. The DH book has never been as balanced.

  • For point costs I refer to the QS rules. Imo the QS team needs some help to create the right feel for the faction. Current list does not give that right feel. So feel free to make better suggestions. Not sure artillery is in there. Def. Should be imo.

  • One of the first DH list many rooks might see is: - Thane, 9 warriors, 10 kingsguard, 10 marksmen and 10 marksmen. That is the quickstarter list. Can we make this better? Maybe one unit of 15 of 20 would work better?

This guy; think he does the job. At least fair chance. Cannons might hold him back.

    Right! But that takes away all of its weakness, a bit too much imo. Maybe his doom should be great weapon troops, so his Agi could be set to 1. He needs to be able to handle dwarf and lizzy infantry, so Agi 2 would be to high.

    if he is shot a bit I'd be happy actually. Thats not a big issue with R5 and 7HP. But there is pretty much nothing except chaff he can handle in combat alone his agi needs to be lowered.

    maybe been said before: giant has big issue with combat res. Will take 3,5 wounds vs good infantry, and only deliver 1,5. While it need to take wounds to become strong, it has a big chance to lose any first combat big. Ranks and banners make things worse. Its pretty terrible imo. Just a support unit. And the book has enough better ones at that. EDIT: just realised he gets the extra attacks in T1 when fighting Agi4 or up. Fix: lower his Agi.

  • oo nice. Scrap wagons have grotlings too Now I got: gen on wyv, bsb on wyv, shaman on boar, ferral horde with bows, boar boys, 2 boar chariot, grotling, headbasher on boars, 2 scrapwagon, ggi, giant, 2 cata'. So full orcs mobile force, with wild ones that worship idol god, and some slaves

  • looking to build a rough bashing Orc list! I was looking what units go well with Orcs. I heard that goblins mainly enslaved exotic monsters like spiders etc. As I want a true Orc centred list, Imma run two wyvers, some boars, boar chariots and orcs. Now I'm looking at side units; what do you think match best with Orcs? Trolls, Giants, Dashers? The Idol? Do orcs have artillery? I was think the mighty orcs send forward some puny goblins wolves and dashers to "welcome" the enemy ..
