I would like to make one very important, critical and simple point. This is not the old game. This is a brand spanking new game. Everyone seems to go into it with this preconceived notion that it should operate the same way the other game worked. It won't. Break from your rut and accept that this is completely new. Em…

I honestly have been growing less and less interested in T9A since v1.3 came out, which makes me sad because I really enjoyed this game in the v.9 era. I feel this game is being catered more and more towards ETC and high level tournaments (read: bland without randomness and large swings aka Kings of War) instead of a fun beer and pretzels game that it came from. Hopefully I am wrong and just being pessimistic, because if not I guess my days of fantasy wargaming are coming to an end.

Right, they are part of the community but a very small fraction of it but it appears their expert opinions outweigh ours substantially. Granted, it’s their game and they can do with it as they want but you will continue to lose players with the false idea that their opinions matter when they apparently do not.

It has been hinted at/said multiple times by frustrated members with fancy colored tags that t…

I think people are just upset because they asked for what people wanted addressed in the hot fix but then basically ignored them (reduced points on what I would call the least significant item brought up, Ritual Bloodletters). It’s a slap to the face. And yes, I understand you can’t give people everything they want because that would end up in ridiculous power creep. This wasn’t just an OK issue either.

Yeah I agree. Some stuff got cheaper (which is always nice), but I guess the "fix" for everyone using GW on Tuskers was to just make GW more expensive, instead of addressing the issue with IF? That's not fixing anything, just forcing people to use IF if there points are already tight, or having them redo lists completely, but with the more probable scenario of people stopping using tuskers all together. Then the next "fix" will nerf whatever people are taking instead of tuskers to force them to …

Quote from baron: “Come one guys, this is really not positive feedback. I have been very upset lately with what I can read on this forums. I am a casual player speaking for a community of 15 players, eventually we play tournaments (we never win). We've been playing for ages and we feel this is the best and more balanced version of the game we've ever had, WE LOVE IT. It could be better? for sure, do I wish my ID immortals costed less ponts? for sure. This is a beta version of the game, a 2.0, a …

  • I couldn't agree more. The never ending pursuit for balance is going to make this game bland. I would be for this (as long as it's not stupid OP).

While I don’t have any sources or statistics to prove it, I’m willing to bet money on this game has less players from v.99 to now solely due to the direction of the rules and restrictions being…

They can simply agree among themselves what to allow among each other, and when they do, the official rules serve as a useful reference point on what's considered balanced. Quote from PapaG: “Again, I'm working on a post (I hope to post it when the hot-fix launches), but remember when I talked about if the majority T9A's core audience brings up a problem, then it's a problem, no matter what? If we're talking numbers, then it's true that the average war-gamer (I like the term "wider Warhammer community") is T9A's core audience. But from a design perspective, the ETC circle is T9A's core audience. Repeatedly, we see the needs and the advice of the ETC circle prioriti…
