Any clue of how the tableau will look like, now that there are 1 more group? Regards, Dimitri

  • 1. BSB with fire standard activates it at the beginning of a close combat phase phase and later get killed. Does his unit still benefit from flamming attacks until end of combat?

  • Quote from Neaj: “Quote from DanT: “They have suffered two nerfs for 2.0: LoS and 0-2 rather than 0-3. ” I assume the mortar does not draw line of sight like a standard size model, could you shed some light on the War Machine special rule, maybe ? If you can shield your infantry by putting your large units in front of them, that's a big nerf to catapults of all kind. ” Not even large, I think standard size suffices, like a thin line of skirmishers.

  • Quote from Theorox: “Quote from Jackginger: “If they are cheap enough. Mortars are fine. Cannons too Arty is supposed to be the Empires no1 strength. ” No, 30-36 hits with one shot is not fine whatever the cost is. Those types of potential power spikes are not okay. It's extremely odd that it has passed inspection at all. Theo ” Quote from Theorox: “Quote from Jackginger: “Quote from Fthunder: “Quote from Jackginger: “sweet Spot would be 220 up to 250. ” *cough* lower *cough* ” Than it is sweete…

  • Quote from Fthunder: “Quote from Alexbbr: “I can see now rocketeers as a real warmachines hunters! With the new range and the multiple shoot, they have good change to put a lot of dammage, or even destroy a warmachine in one turn! Holly sh*t! Thanks to the team! ” Get this man an internet cookie. I think this is a very powerful and surprising use for them that I was unsure anyone would pick up on this quickly! ” Well, with new LOS rules, if you can shoot at opponent's warmachines, it's only beca…

  • Quote from DanT: “Quote from WildcatHendricks: “Is 15-48 inch correct, looks a little strange? Yes I think the new Rocketeers looks good and is really worth a try, if it is reasonable priced. Furthermore i am a little bit sad that the iconic volley gun hasn't changed so it has to stay on the shelf. ” This last bit deserves a comment, so I will try to briefly explain the task team thoughts: We are aware that the volleygun doesn't see much use. This is primarily due to the core rules changes from …

  • Hey, I think your picture inclusions are broken (I don't get to see those pictures). If that was an attempt to keep the suspense up, you did well !

Are veil tokens also useful for dispelling?

  • Quote from Fthunder: “Guys. I know we are not meant to talk points values with you, but their sea guard are so expensive it would make your head spin. Yes they get a lot of rules but great Sunna's Sunhat they pay for it. Trust me our support rules are still better. You might even get to see a spoiler for them soon...... ” Can't wait to see them! You did a good teasing job Keep up the good work!

I think there is a loophole on how the banner of the stallion works. @fjugin @greentide Quote from Rulebook: “Random movement (X)[...] Models with this special rule lose Swiftstride (and can never gain it), but always Charge, Flee, Pursue and Overrun the distance stated in brackets. RT has finished their task in time, but now its in the hands of the Balance Team for point assignment, Rules Review for correcting misleading rules expressions and Layout Team for the layout. A lot of parallel tasks on a lot of books in parallel. Still very difficult to judge, although all teams are working v…

About the timing of the update: Now that we are closer to the date, is it likely that the update will come out october 25th? I guess everything will be released together (new rulebook, new paths or whatever magic system and new armybooks) ? There is a team tournament running in Switzerland in the beginning of November. It would be great to be able to use the new package!

Quote from Baranovich: “@Lagerlof, Look at the very first post in the thread. This thread was started as a discussion about the game length issue being addressed by reducing unit options in armies and streamlining certain rules. The initial thought of this thread was looking at ways to reduce game length through simplifying and speeding up the game itself. The issue of player abuse and stalling came up later on the thread. My main point is that in my opinion you can't control the length of time …

Quote from KeyserSoze: “That's why, Dim, we need to bring it on an experimental stage to find loopholes and abuses. If we find too many of them and/or sone unsolvable ones, we drop the plan. ” Agreed. I think it would be interesting to try, just starting to actively think about it ^^. A good question is also: what happens if one player runs out of time? 20-0? BP penalty?

Quote from Scorbol: “I didn't want to throw a stone in the lake here (french translated expression here). I thought that time management could be an issue when you play against dishonest players. The clock seamed to be a good idea but when thinking about it, when does the active player uses/stops his time regarding the reactive player ? Ie : Active player starts magic phase. Clocks starts. Active player chooses spell and throw some dice. Clock stops, reactive player starts clock to dispell attem…
