But what a couple of point changes are for casual players? These are fine tuning, if you don't use it in a casual game, no problems at all. You can keep your printed book as it is if you don't want to put stickers in. And even if you do play with the fine tuning, who cares that the prices in the printed book aren't the right ones, anyway we use tools for army building which are updated. I really don't get the "please don't improve the game if you feel it needs it". I totally get that you don't w…

We could imagine stickers with the right colour/font/size compatible with the book for those who want a book 100 % updated cost-wise. I personally don't find this to be a big deal, I would want a full Army Book for the fluff and the nice art, I would probably still use a printed slim book or numerical version to bring on tournaments, and 9th builder for list building. I still sometimes open Warhammer books, even if I haven't played it for years. And I don't want to sell them.

  • Damn, que 10 places ! Malheureusement je ne suis pas encore sûr de ma dispo, je vous dis bientôt !

  • I've received my Marcos Knight yesterday, he's awesome! Very detailed, perfect casting. Seems a little brittle, but that's expectable for resin. Proportions seems to be quite realistic, so he might look a bit off close to heroic scaled knights, say a Wasteland Knight. I'll post a pic as soon as he's prepped and glued! Weapon options are nice! TL;DR: Good job Model Age, high quality model.

Quote from Iluvatar (sabbatical): “Quote from kisanis: “@Stunt GW wrote rules in a very easy to understand way. They were also full of holes, bad assumptions, contradictions, errors, and a whole other host of problems - but they were approachable. ” That's the thing. GW rules were oriented towards immersion and fun for casual gamers; ours are oriented towards tournament players or scientific oriented people.I'll take a dumb example, hoping that my friend @Eru will forgive me: chapters numbering.…

Quote from Szary: “I have a quick question regarding the new release 0.204 - when the updated magic cards will be published? Is a matter of days or weeks? ” It depends on the availability of @Iluvatar (sabbatical) who is responsible for this project. I know that he is away for a while, but I'm sure he'll do his best when he's back to update it as soon as possible!

  • Quote from Warboss_R'ok: “It would help a lot if we had the unit stats available in an electronic format so that new army books can be produced and balance tested in an automated way, because I am not going to write 15 new ABs by hand ” We're working on LaTeX templates and a database with API.

Quote from Norbert: “It shows a cross-over pursuit where the resulting number of models in base contact is not maximized. Since this is choice is made after all overrun/pursuit are known and it is clear which units will make it into the enemy, you could just follow Maximizing Contact. So why not treat it as a Multiple Charge? I might be missing the logic behind this, but currently it goes against the spirit of how charges work, making it needlessly complicated extra rule at the very least, and p…

Choice should be simple. Don't mind my tag :p And no I don't support the 50 000 % margin of GW, but I had to so the joke :p

I also support changing armour rolls so rolling low is better, but I completely understand why it wasn't done for v2. Too much old Warhammer players who grip to their beloved habits We all put different weight to coherence, mind burden, etc. when considering a change, and we need to design the new rules so that everyone is happy (what a joke :D) it is comfortable for most people. I particularly support this change because most of the time we want to roll high, so having to roll low more often wo…

Quote from JimMorr: “Maybe instead making rules more complex it would be better to write an article on changes? What has changed, why has changed, etc. Or even a series of articles on a blog through next 3 months or so... ” I think that writing extensive change logs go a long way for this. We've tried to improve it a bit over the last updates, but it's hard when we're close to release to ask overworked teams to spend more time to go through everything again. Adding reasoning behind changes is an…

You can't figure all the rules outright, you have to make mistakes and improve, you're constantly learning and exploring that depth. ” Depth IMO should be seen as different to complexity. Repeat a reminder in multiple places without having the risk that a modification of the reminder do not get implemented everywhere? If this is what you mean, yes, LaTeX helps a lot with this. I want to explore the possibility of using "tooltips" in the electronic version: when you hover over a rule, a tool tip appears with a summary of said ru…
