  • El general en puerco y la unidad eran dos cosas diferentes. El general iba por el centro para junto con los fanáticos y la unidad de salvajes impedir que se me acercaran. Normalmente el gigante con redes pivotaba para ayudar ahí o al flanco (a 2+ es arriesgado, pero si sale brutal). Y los flancos se controlaban con araña, el gigante y los jinetes.   • Bueno, terminada la final, mis conclusiones: - NT ha ganado con mucha suficiencia, quizá el año que más. La cantidad de cambios que ha habido en poco tiempo (dos cambios de reglas, el tema objetivos, etc) ha hecho que algunos estuviéramos un poco perdidos en algún cruce/partida.   • A) I would like to know how the wyvern is consider a good mount bearing in mind how expensive it is. It gives us only 1HP, fly, towering presence and 3 strenght 6 attacks on the good side. On the other side it make us vulnerable to magic, war machines and stops us from taking some magic equipment as well as 1+ armour save. Comparing to other big flying mounts it is clearly overcosted.   • I would say the changes are good overall. The new BtF is great and combined with the nets, the idol and shamanism can make the orc units fearsome. Meanwhile I would like the pricing of our mages (they used to be more expensive than others), the gargantula as a mount for a wizard is trash and the trolls should be much cheaper than other units of three mountrous infantry models. We are definitely going to be combat oriented book. I like it.

También hay que tener en cuenta que es el jugador de orcos con más experiencia de la final, porque hay que tener mucha mano para llevar una lista sin casi daño a distancia o redirectoras.   • There are mainly three problems in this unit: - The lack of scoring in the book. You can not go to a tournament with only two scoring units considering you are playing every objetive. Even 35 of them with pair weapons and full command group cost about 900 points. - The lack of space for mage bunkers. If you go more agresive with mages on chariots its ok but I don't find it the most efficient way to go with orcs. - They do not deserve to be the most expensive unit in the game.     The problem with orcs it's that they are supposed to be strong offensinvely and they have 1 Att, 3 Off, 3 Str. ¿Do you find it scary? Even our 4" Adv Elite Infantry has only 1 Att. With the current stats the only way to field scary units of orcs It is just to made them much cheaper. Otherwise we will continue to see small units of orcs avoiding any serious combat. We must consider also that with 4" Adv you need to be polivalent since you can hardly chose combats.

    After a while I am starting to realise that our core may be a problem. We have one thing: Weak combat infantry. Being this the 25% of the army push you to play static (also the leadership, the movement, etc) so we need things to control de field to not end sorrounded. There things are mainly three: Shooting, Monsters and Magic. I don't find any of these particularly strong in our book but they are desperately needed.   • Orcos tiene cosas divertidas para probar. Puedes hacer una unidad de 10 carros goblin con vanguardia, otra cosa es que sea basura, pero para jugar con los colegas... La lista es divertida. Lleva el ídolo porta, que igual no es una locura sabiendo que muchas veces nos dejamos 200 puntos en el porta goblin a 18 y tiene 2H. Este se quedará atrás, dando porta a 18 UM, +1 a la ha ofensiva, y tampoco te lo caza cualquier cosa. Lo que si hubiera hecho es meter el estandarte de marchar triple a las infa…

  • El ídolo no estaba mal para amenazar monopeanas, absorber disparo que iría a las arañas y dar el bufo, pero ahora mismo hay que elegir entre llevar dos arañas o el ídolo y... En combates múltiples no conviene meterlo porque si se van las tiradas para donde no deben lo regalas. Y lo vuelvo a llevar a Talavera porque no funcionaba mal del todo la lista con 3 bichos duros. Aunque eso ya se acabó y el ídolo ahora mismo no justifica valer lo que vale ni sacar a una araña de la lista.

  • I really like this character. Challenges are a plus in a stubborn monster. It can save you when a star with a lot of strong characters charges you. The removal of pathmaster has been a huge nerf btw but for me it still worth the point increase vs a normal gargantula.

  • I would say in general: Weak alone, strong together. We should have some kind of bonus having a lot of models in a unit and also being near to the general/bsb/buff wagon. This would work in the other direction. Weak few model units (low saves and low agi) and weak models far from the bubble (low movement, low leadership). I think this can be a point to start.
