Quote from Iluvatar: “The pictures are being worked on I believe ” Yep ! I'll finish them before the end of the week. Sorry for the delay guys !

  • How to teach 9th Age?

    Turblush - - General Discussion

When I had to make demo games, I had the feeling that explaining the tables wasn't necessary at first. I mean each time I said to my "opponent" that I was going to calculate all the results myself, because that was very easy but I wanted him to focus on moving his own troops and have fun. This part isn't necessary to understand in the very first place I think, and also just having to announce "and boom! My goblin hero takes a bullet right between the eyes!" is generally easier to picture than "a…

  • The focus for each army

    Turblush - - General Discussion

    Post

I don't know where you could find these exactly, except on some discussion thread on the specific armies subforums. For example, I've read a thread in the KoE subFo where Klexe (I think?) asked players what different playstyles they identified with, in order to help their ABC to maybe focus on these points during the review session. So I'm not sure all those focus points have been precisely established already, or if this is an ongoing process. Envoyé de mon SM-N910F en utilisant Tapatalk

  • All armies balanced?

    Turblush - - General Discussion

    Post

I don't know exactly what armies are considered to be unbalanced for the moment, but what I do know is that the Empire is considered to be at the desired power level right now, and that armies that are considered to be above this power level are going to be nerfed in the next release (march I think). This job no longer belongs to the army book comitees but to the balance board team.

  • Handgun - mostly useless/senseless

No, infact : first you buy your light infantry unit. Then, if you want you can replace all the crossbows by hanguns for free. After that, you may upgrade one of the guys to a champ. And finally, if you have decided to change crossbows for handguns, your champ can take a long rifle. At least this is how I understand it, since the option to trade crossbows for handguns comes before the option to take a champion in the list.

Yes, but the whole unit has to change weapons in that case. So if the champion has a handgun, that means that the whole unit has to take handguns. And then, the champ can take a long rifle.

Quote from TurboTT: “The second proposal is that handguns can fire the range 25-30 inch for -1 to hit. ” I like this solution better. The randomisation of the first turn range does not really compensate in my opinion.
