    Autumnus - - General Discussion

    Post

Quote from marcema: “I tried to find it in the rules, but i couldn't get a clear view on it. How exactly does the point rewarding work? Like team Sweden is leading right now, with 200/200 points, but they still lost battles. ” Every round is capped, so that the highest amount of points a national team can get is 100, and the lowest is 60 per round

    Autumnus - - Rules Questions & Answers

You are right in both cases

  • Thanks, you're (almost) right! It seems to be inanimate, rather than harnessed that prevents it in this case. But does this in fact mean that the ordinary crew could take control of the sky reaper, while the naval officer uses the bow of elu?

  • Hi people, Reading the rules over and over again, there seems to be a hole in the rules RAW vs. RAI. #1 Since the skyreaper is in fact fired by the chassis, and not the naval officer, why would it benefit from +2 to hit from his rules? #2 since it is indeed the chassis that fires the skyreaper, this wouldn't seem to stop the naval officer from using the bow of elu. I am more than happy to be proven wrong, but I just can't seem to find where I'm mistaken. It does seem like there is some non-inten…

My best advice is to think backwards, do the numbers. Most of the time I believe minimizing your casualties comparing to maximizing your output. If the sphinx doesn't kill anything, it pops.

Autumnus - - Daemon Legions (DL)

    Post

I don't know if I'm allowed to say this, but the only way for me to describe playing with the DL, is that I am now STRONGLY considering and wanting to buy a DL army for myself after having used stand-ins for a while.

  • As for the altar, there's no way around a palanquin with a Legba idol on top. As for bloodlines it simple, different areas have different hierarchies in their pantheon, if one could call it that. Ouidah and Dahomey had very different views on this, and they still do today.

  • Sounds cool! I'm currently on the last 45 days of my master thesis, so I've been a bit off the grid for the last couple of months

Autumnus - - Ogre Khans (OK)

    Post

I still don't understand why the wording was made for the Wildheart to gain Scrapling look-out in Yetis. It already gains that from the normal Scrapling Look-out rule, or am I missing something?

    How do you get MR(3)?

  • See here is my biggest problem, you assume a lot of different things have worked out for the Sylvan prince. If you do the actual numbers of the dragon staff you do closer to 0,4 wounds, also from a statistical point of view you cannot add probabilities, since either a wound is either a wound or not, like 33%+33%+33% is not 99%. The lack of synergy can be discussed, is it as synergetic as you propose? Sylvan players could argue the other way around, which is an eternal cause for debate, and the r…

  • You're totally right on the hereditary spell, my bad. I'm curious about hearing about what dragons you've died to before you got to strike. I think my point is, that against anything with a good save or higher toughness the Sonnstahl is better, so it is mostly the comparison I'm feeling is wrong.

  • I agree that dragons are in a weird place, but I really, really, really think you underestimate auto-wounding and ap(10) in your specific comparison. Dragons don't have a problem fighting t3-4 units anyway, their problem is getting shot down and 1+ or 2+ (and RR) characters and that brings The Sohnstall dragon dude in front. Even if you put the two dragons up against each other the Empire prince does more wounds. Also you can take the regen spell as your hereditary, which means that you get to p…

My Dahomeyian Ogres love this idea. At least in Benin/Togo a major thing woyld be to emphasize on Voodoo which originates from that area.

Its still Towering Presence ” Cannons: "They gain a +1 to-hitmodifier when targeting units consisting entirely of models with Towering Presence". My statement is thus only true if the wa…
