there is an error by 20pts somewhere with raptor riders. I looked at a unit of 10 with full command and strider banner. AB2 has 650 AB3 shows 630. I checked vs the army book and 650 is right.

Ive TO'd all of team USA players, some for over a decade. That they are this upset and frustrated is a testament to the situation. These guys are class acts and very intelligent. Very rarely heard them complain about anyone, and when they have its been justified. Its unfortunate

  • we previously used irregular boxes deconstructed and taped together or big ones from appliances. These look so much better. I thought some day we might paint scenes of battle on them. But that's probably not gonna happen. I can still dream though.

  • We ordered from uline. 6x2 then while bundled, used a table saw to cut the footer groves. uline.com/BL_1851/Large-Corrugated-Pads

  • The group met at Buckeye and decided yes there is indeed interest and there are players from all regions (not defined) that would be willing to support and travel to Masters 2019. Then unexpectedly, it morphed into how to get this done and evolved into a committee. @MartyG volunteered to coordinate. He has experience running events and working with Cons for many years. We decided to run with the players winning events. Likely every 20 players past 40 or 50 will get another person per event in. T…

  • Quote from Dan: “Quote from Truckeye: “The bottom 3 of 4 EoS players are very casual. The 4th I do not know well. Im not sure if 3 of them had played a combined 6 games of 9th Age since last Buckeye. So that definitely effects the average. Id suggest maybe not even counting the bottom 30 players results for hardcore data. Buckeye does draw a lot of casual players because we have always been "average Joe" friendly and its become a "Fun event", not just a tournament. Looking at those ranked 70 and…

  • @eggsPR or if Buckeye was before the deadline, then you could literally test your lists before submission. Ill see what I can do.

  • who the heck needs the event data now days? @Giladis

  • Quote from eggsPR: “You're a patriot Jeff, no question about it. ETC players don't look at BB as "just" a practice ground for ETC. If we thought this, why would we care about penalties in the 1st place? Makes no sense to me. We do care about BB, and the players, and the nights out. We also care about ETC for obvious reasons. Folks who think it'sa bout either BB *or* ETC are very misinformed of the reality of the situation. It's about fun wargaming people, and BB and ETC *both* provide this. Seem…

  • yes. I was telling him in 2018 I didnt count how many went 1st which was to explain why he didnt choose 1st when I claimed all top tables did in 2017

  • Some years its smoother than others. This one went really well. We see all the warts, so Im thrilled the players experience a good event. Example, Round 2 we mismatched 2 players by accident. They were opposite ends. While trying to figure out how that happened, we reset all the pairings. No one knew because they were already moving to their tables. We fixed that match and didnt notice either. Then when 1st 2 scores came in, we realized there was a problem and rematched the whole round manually …

  • I will ask you politely to stop implying Im not patriotic because I try to treat all paying players equally. I served this country in the military during wartime, though I did not see combat. I believe my patriotism is without question. Team Mexico also lost bonus points for changing list(s). Some changes from both were much more than tweaks. Note there is a list submission bonus for turning in by a particular date. Not necessarily a penalty for not being decisive or planning ahead. My point is …

  • This year I did not count, but many of the top tables did drop 1st.

  • Same with Saurian Ancients. Primarily is lists dont play themselves and there is a very wide variety of skill level at this event. ETC/Masters players down to noobs and casual players. Happy to hear CGL enjoyed themselves!

  • warscore.net/event/629/view.html Results are in. Pretty nice spread of armies in the top 10.
