I do use Ogres, orcs, warriors in my undead, but as unit fillers on bigger bases. I also find boring to only have humans in our shambling hordes, but I think the easiest solution is unit fillers. We tend to have hundreds of minis on the table anyway so we have to use unit fillers to stay sane and play under 3 hours

The 0.205 is on the verge of release, and it is the last version before the gold freeze. It moved faster than anticipated. So I don't think we'll be able to do anything to the statline, besides maybe add a logo here and there, before the freeze. We'll see what we can do with the QRS. The LaTeX sources are already available for you if you want to play with it: the-ninth-age.com/filebase/ind…892f432c3317dc0e90932c883 We can totally imagine having a different version of the files for the linear lov…

Quote from ferny: “Re: index, this requires you to look through a list of rules sorted alphabetically in order to find the rules in the section where they're not laid out alphabetically. ” I'm not sure to understand. Rules in Universal Rules are sorted alphabetically, rules in Personal Protections are sorted alphabetically, etc. Let's say I stumble across "Fear" in a rule description. I have no idea what this is, even if this is a model rule or not. I open my rulebook to the end, check the index…

Quote from ferny: “Where do I look up fear for example? ” In the global list or the index! But if you want to look for a rule, it's probably that you've seen it in a profile, so you should know where to look from where you picked up the rule. So looking for a rule should not be a problem with the current setting.

I will review the last posts later. Please be sure to comply with the restrictions I gave, and give all instructions so we can implement the layout fast - font sizes, particular cases, etc. @Ungrim_7 As it is well possible that we add logos for the unit entries, would you be so kind to design 3 logos of your own? That would probably go through our Art team and Background team then, and might change, but at least so we can work without IP issues

  • This is really about the website design, then, and it's about to change soon.

  • Quote from Pellegrim: “Quote from deadbuc: “Ferny hopefully both the new stat layout and this gets approved. After all this is a community based game. Community should be able to help it develop ” Deadbuc, the stat won't. Due to "2cm margins" and other procedural arguments, an initiative that had devastating support, both on the website, on the Facebook page and other media, has been stamped off as "not feasible". Not even a real attempt is being made to set it up. 9th Age is no longer a communi…

Quote from DJWoodelf: “@Eru could you think about moving the Agi stat to the left? It's much more intuitive because it's the first stat you check in a combat phase ” When we chose the order, we faced the issue that we can't have both a chronological order (stats are in the order you use them) and a consistent order (similar stats are in the same column). We focused on keeping a consistent order, while wanting Agi to be easy to spot because it is an important stat, so we put Agi on the right (sta…

You've got nice minis, show them

Well, I finally took the time to read everything. First, thanks for the feedback, particularly when it's well argued and not too hyperbolic! And thanks for the messages of support, it's pretty welcomed in those times of hard work for 0.205 Despite the fact that we've spent a LOT of time thinking about the layout when we designed 2.0, and a lot of the arguments I've read here were provided, I'm not sure that the current layout we're using is the best we could design. I'm sure that we can improve …
