    @marcema its obviously clear if you know the intention of the rule The fly addition makes perfectly sense to add, to avoid people from charging with the lowest movement possible and purposely fail the charge. (And I guess that this is also not allowed??) But I have gotten my doubts sorted out, since now I know then intention of the Frenzy rule.

    Yes Laroop, that how I am reading the rule. It is not clear from the rules that “use lowest Adv” is overruled by “if flying, use the highest”. It is only clear to anyone who has played earlier editions of the game. I dont read the fly pointer as not applying to the charge, actually I read it as only applying to the charge, since the charge is what is refered to in the pointer. i guess it can be read in 3 different ways then

    @marcema no unfortunately it doesnt answer my question. The quoted rule (from galain pros post) speak of how to charge with a unit with Fly rule during a frenzy charge. Not how to take the test. Or, maybe it does so implicitly, but then I dont think its very clear. (I also guess that neither GalainPro or Giladis read my second post in the thread, where I explain why I am I doubt about the rules)

    Thanks for the replies, I can easily see how it can be read that way, and RAI I think that is correct too. However, RAW I think there is need for a clarification. Firstly, Rhamphodons have two different Advance Rates 2" (Ground) and 8" (Fly). Given the first point in Frenzy rule: "When measuring if a unit must take a Frenzy Test, use the lowest available Advance Rate among the unit’smodels."     One way to improve/change the raptors could also be to replace the lance with a different weapon: Maybe this? Jungle War-Spear: Devastating Charge (+1 Str, +2Agility) Or keeps the +2 str if you like (points will go up!) Would make the Raptor Knights actually shocktroops and would also make place for Skink Cavalry in core (min units size 8+) for an eventual FAB.

    Yes that is a very good idea! Would also work excellent for the Saurian Cavalry to give them a similar weapon, with maybe a different name (Jungle War-Spear?) Probably the easiest fix to make the units viable as "shock"-troops and points can be adjusted accordingly.

    If SKink cav should be core, just make them min unit size 8, just like warhounds from WotDG. The unit has history with the army and models can be made.
