  • Congrats guys! Looks like an awesome set!

  • Totally unofficial open question to the community: Feel free to take 'as professional as possible' pictures of your armies fighting these scenarios - either Actual pics of the games, or staged dioramas. Both of those could be handy for spicing this document up

  • so long as basing remains the same it should be fine! Ive heard of people doing this, but I havent seen any yet

Quote from Marcos24: “Perfect thank you, and Lion Rampant is a skirmish game right? Is it like a non-fantasy age if Sigmar style? As far as movement and position goes? Which is like Saga And is Hail Caesar a tray game like Kings of war? Where models aren’t removed? ” yep. Hail Caesar is Warmaster turned into historicals. (also shares similar core mechanics to Blackpowder, so if you want to do anything in that era its an easy leap). typically multiple models on a single base and morale markers to…

(Not Renaissance or later!!) ” Lion Rampant & Hail Caesar ” Would you mind explaining why they’re you’re favorite? And have you played Saga? ” Variety - For historicals I want a simple straightforward ruleset that I can use to cover a wide range of periods. I can use both rule sets (with some house rules) to easily cover biblical skirmishes up to the wars of the roses... S…

kisanis - - The Vermin Swarm (VS)

    Post

Anything under the Advanced rules are not part of the core premade lists - they are there for an expanded QS to act as a go-between to get players used to the full rules. The Core QS does not include that, but that should be made clearer under the 'Advanced Rules' Heading. If the rule is not listed in the premade list then it doesn't exist in the QS. There may be specific ones listed in each army list, but they are not universal special rules. The QS is VERY stripped down. This includes: Fear, S…

@The Unmarked Did you report the game to QS thread? QuickStarter 2.0 // Community feedback theres also the questionaire: docs.google.com/forms/d/17L_su…eZxjC9ffbJtcOJAazgIiJVh9k all others: There is no fight in extra rank in QS. There is no Chaff in the premade lists. The game plays very differently at a tactical level, it takes a lot ot change your game thinking. Exposing flanks, getting in position, etc... all matter a lot more than in the full game. When armies are this small, every casualty …

  • Why we play this game?

    kisanis - - General Discussion

    Post

i think the issue here is that so many people seem to be calling for t9a to take a stand - to codify in The rules some sort of official stamce on painted/scale/miniatures type, etc.. We wont. We shouldnt. Its anathema to what makes me love this game. Its important that while you may not like 2d terrain, or paper miniatures, that we also do not condemn them either. That was the whole point of my post before about wrongfun. Just because it is not *your* way of playing t9a, does not make it a *wron…

Rarely its the issue of the miniature company, usually its the spanish post." I will see what I will do. I already have a few Avatars of War models, maybe i'll continue with this line. Though I really …

Personally, Any future events i run will have an expanded paint and modelling score. Basically you shouldn't place top 3 without a fully painted army of miniatures. As for admission to the tournament? My #1 requirement is units on proper sized bases - After that I won't really be bothered - many people have to learn to convert/model/greenstuff somewhere - and I've already said I have no issue with paper miniatures. Pitching up with a gorgeous army of 3d miniatures is great... unless they're all …

  • So apparently you can get around the lack of login restriction via a simple exploit: If you click on a user, and follow their post history, you can access public forums and subforums without being signed into the website. We should make it so non-signed in visitors can't access post histories, that should fix the issue. This is brought to you by @Grouchy Badger - He's hoping it can help with his current ban ( @Emperor_Zoron ) - I made no comments or promises, but he was kind enough to still poin…

  • Quote from Jawor: “I checked miniatures library but there was nothing interesting I'm looking for something similar to original GW models, because i like this style. ” knightmare and Foundry are both sculpted by ex-GW They should fit in VERY well with an existing GW style.
