  • What the hell? Do you want to use them as your new wallpaper for your living room? Not the worst idea though.

  • He's right. Too bad, those artworks are not in our possession.

  • Quote from rog: “Hi all, Thinking about getting back into the game. Haven't really played since WH 7th. Could somebody please give me the low-down on army play styles right now? Thank you ” This might be a very helpful link for you, mate. Cheers, Tom

  • How was the first Vampire 'born' and who is it? How and why did Vampirism split into different bloodlines? What advantages and disadvantages do Vampires have in this world? (Immunity to poison, time,...,suffer to sunlight, holy icons, silver,...?) Can they live 'peacefully' anywhere in this world next to other humanoid beings or are they hunted everywhere?

Didn't expect anything else of guys wearing red shirts... the-ninth-age.com/index.php?at…0de051e18e89fbe2788d97108

  • Wow! I thought this would be a thing for the rule book only. AFAIK the magic paths and the magic items have been merged into the Arcane Compendium for one purpose only: to keep them changeable...

  • Quote from Laik: “Maps looks good. It would be good to have description of special terrain on the map itself - otherwise you need to go to some other book to check how it works - which means people will not use it... ” I play with the thought of creating some cards with the special terrain rules. Would this help you?

  • Quote from Lich King: “Thanks for your efforts. I have found a small mistake in the AC. The DL Hereditary spell in the summary has not been updated yet. ” Sorry to quote myself but it seems it hasn't made the way up to the gods of LaTeX coding. So I have to summon @Eru once more

  • It tells you that you need to create an account to download the reader. But if you gave me your email adress via PM, I could send it to you, too.

  • Thanks for your efforts. I have found a small mistake in the AC. The DL Hereditary spell in the summary has not been updated yet.

Quote from Persedious: “This community is too much sometimes man. Everything something new comes along for an army that isn't theirs people hop on the forums and ask for nerfs. Then when their army gets it they complain that there is only nerf. ” Well, that's how lobbyism actually works. Thank to god Balacing Team just cares for Data. Quote from Auto2: “Quote from Lich King: “But that's exactly the same in case of aegis against toxic attacks, even if we're talking about 5+ saves. ” Kind of, but having a 5+ aegis against a ranged weapon isn't kryptonite. What I would like to see is more armies using toxic attacks ” Then -1 Attack Value for armies with more than 1 Attack in profile is not too. Most played unit in WDG book is Chosen, not? You reduce their damage by 33 %. 5+ Aegis against Toxic Attacks reduces damage by 33 % too.

Quote from Auto2: “Quote from Ferkinason: “special rule that gives aegis (toxic attacks) without any reason? And therefore reduce the strength of basically one army (VS) by a lot? ” Well you have to remember we are talking about a 5+ aegis here. I think items that reduce attacks are a good thing to have in the game, but I think the way it was done introduced too much skew because the effect is sometimes super powerful and sometimes does exactly nothing. Actually contrary to what @WastelandWarrio…

  • He might be talking about the Arcane Compendium. If so, thats easy to answer: The rule book is about rule mechanics only. Those things won't change while in gold status. But there can be price changes or even adjustments for casting values etc while gold is running, when BT decides it would be necessary. So we're having one small book with space for small changes regarding balancing and one big book with all the rules and no chsnges at all.

Quote from Eisenhans: “After going to all but one tournament last year this guy had some wear and tear so I've started repairs and repainting, also adding some details like the back-banner and some trophies (later) and giving the model more detail and a nicer paint job overall. Easily my MVP last year: roU5aZC.jpg Tsvn2zf.jpg FFK1Hc5.jpg EDvd6ip.jpg iPrDFvo.jpg People's reaction to this piece is awesome; "What's that?" "12 S 5 Attacks, Resilience 5, 2+/4++, toxic breath" "What the h***!?" ” Very…

  • This project is my favorite one by far in the homebrew section, guys. I would love the see the BGT picking up your ideas for vampires coming from the african continent originally. To see Vampires as a non humanoid race on their own is very unique to me and I'm totally of the opinion this is the way the 9th Age has to go. You might not know the 'chronicles of the immortals' by Wolfgang Hohlbein, a very well known german fantasy author. Though I lost interest into these books with every new book t…

Lich King - - New army books

    Post

Guys, I'll have to leave you a comment here. In the last two weeks I spent a huge amount of my free time in the 9th Age Forum. I discovered wonderful threads about sculpting miniatures, building ones own lore, writing scenarios or even whole campaigns. All the beautiful stuff that makes our hobby as multifaceted as it is. Then after a while I entered the Homebrew section. I have to say, creating my own rules on things that are not covered by the common rule books has always been my favorite aspe…

These H-shaped armatures are easy enough to make. All the additional tips I learned from those tutorials helped a lot. I wanted to make an armature that is a lot more difficult and the artwork for Kuulima's Dec…
