  • I think the blades are great right now as we can give them bf with witchcraft. They give out massive damage Wich is plain cool. They require the Rending Banner though. Wich is kind of sad. Maybe with the new demons getting over played they will really shine.

  • it's been a while since they had light troops. Damnation is an amazing rule but from my experience it makes your unit super expensive and the wretched one finish the job. But the opponent still get the points. He get the points he wouldn't have had in the first place if the unit had been as strong as it's points should make it. It's a big flaw that make the rule fun and nothing else.

  • yeah I would never shoot at the Corsairs as long as they chaff the judges. I would stay away from both units, delay the Corsairs and kill everything else. That is 1200 points siting still. I much prefer using DRs to do the screening 5 of them in a line can hide more than 10 Corsairs.

  • Yema Dancers instead of the Knights. I would so like to say witchcraft and occultism are my favourite domain because they are the most fun. But Alchemy is so great with Dancers and blades. The ability to deal with high armor as if it was paper and to still boost your cc (pretty much always reroll to wound) really give some de list what they need.

  • I am not so sure about the fact that stronger burning portent would make other builds invalid. It's like the sonthal or other uber Weapons if it's at the right price so some defensive builds are not possible with it other builds can survive. But for the moment no build works anyways. Keep it at 120 points make it all Weapons keep burning and maibe Divine against anti fire aegis.

  • I think the CL mostly needs a fixed burning portent. the weapon is super strong and could really be worth it's points (115 would be better just to be able to get some comboes going) If you could switch off flaming. everybody has flaming resistance. fixing burning portent would be easy : make it work for any weapons. so you can have it on a lance. master of destruction becomes good. it can combo with greed without making half the rule useless...

  • Dancers are a more all-round unit I have used 2 big units of them with Alchemy support and the had largely enough punch and amazing speed. They can hold tremendous charges with their aegis too and get spears. They also make good ranks for monsters. But judges kill stuff and can take killer characters in units.

  • I had pretty good results with 25 guys too. Leaves some place for core dogs or fallen.
