Dread Traffickers got their first AB. Dread Traffickers of Maphria Island Tried to adapt DE to a fluff reflecting: - living overseas, not mainland anymore (and far rom mainland's politics) - even less bound by ordinary morals, even the DE morals, - more corsairish and maritime, and these corsairs have their own cult, and behave like the Mafia, - more beastmasterish and hunting/taming odd Taphrian beasts, with wider variety than DE AB, which allows to use GW's Idoneth Deepkin models and many more…

  • Quote from Little Joe: “I have a question on runes and how they are used.. Since the Kegiz Gavem use magic, which is unbound magical energy, did they forego using runes for harnessing such power? Is their envy among runes (only used once and so on)? Kegiz Gavem AB is linked with DH. They do use runes, albeit less than other DH and never in combination. What they do more is stone animation. Golems possibly had instructions inscribed (forehead, again possibly), would Kegiz Gavem also use text pass…

Quote from Folkienn: “Il me semble qu'un groupe de travail se soit formé pour améliorer la lisibilité et l'impact de la "miniature library" ” En effet, Little Joe y travaille, et le nouveau site devrait être mieux fait de ce point de vue.

  • Nippon for T9A

Calisson - - New army books

    Post

Quote from Byron: “Quote from Calisson: “1. Nippon would get a special status, higher than most Homebrew, but not "official/ tournament approved". ” Isn't this status called Auxiliary Army? Why not make Nippon an Auxiliary Army? ” Auxiliary Armies will get a new name: Supplement Army, in order to appear not as a derogatory auxiliary, but as a real addition. No matter, some reasons why a Homebrew, no matter perfect, is hard (I didn't say impossible) to transform into a supplement are: 1- is BG co…

Guys, I offer my own, personal feelings, which I mature with my insight, but are nothing official, and may be off (on one or another direction). I would like that before any official position on Nippon is required by you, the best case and the most realistic case would be elaborated. I may offer some guidance. No obligation to follow.

  • Well, Those who like what @Chevalier Rouergue2 did, great, use it. Those who don't, nobody forces you to use it, just use the regular AB.

Calisson - - New army books

    Post

Quote from Caledoriv: “to not give you guys any false hopes, the chances of any army becoming "official" any time soon are really really slim. But maybe @Calisson has some update regarding this? ” "official", I don't see it happening ever. What I could envision is two possibilities, not exclusive. 1. Nippon would get a special status, higher than most Homebrew, but not "official/ tournament approved". The quality of your AB, the availability of models, the number of fans places this AB above mos…

  • You're a serious serial Homebrewer!

  • Quote from Uthegen: “But - the license is unclear. So far it is not under the T9A license. (please do not get me wrong, but it might even not be complaint to the license itself ?) From my point of view it is legally a very risky area, especially if money and Amazon get involved. Bottom line: Yes, if it is wanted by @Chevalier Rouergue2 and the the license is clear. ” Quote: “9th Age Gallery Pictures uploaded at our websites gallery are licensed under the Creative Commons Public License as the re…

  • For those who understand French: have a look to the comics here: Bd Equitanienne/Bretonnienne Same author.

  • Quote from VisconteDimezzato: “are you the author of the artworks? ” That's @Chevalier Rouergue2 ' style. Confident 100% his work. Du beau boulot, Chevalier!

  • Hi. Wondering, wouldn't you join forces with @slouchthesloth in his The Gnomish Confederacy? You got the army book drafted, he got some models.

  • I like the inclusion of lots of fluff text. Thanks!

    @Eru ?

  • Hi, @Uthegen I would like to associate with the thanks you received for your generous donation. Just to make sure everyone understands: - It is totally fine to sell T9A rules and make a personal profit on it. We allow it explicitely in the licence. We appreciate it because it is better for players to have a book printed for cost plus profit, than no book printed at all. - It is totally fine for companies to add their own layer around (not within) T9A publication, sell it and make a profit (examp…

  • Très bonne initiative. Cela pourrait m'intéresser d'avoir un retour d'expérience - traduit en anglais - pour inspirer non seulement le forum principal mais également les "Nations Unies".
