About Me
About Me
Name:
James

How old are you?:
Nearing the 40 hill!

Where are you from and where do you live right now?
England, and currently reside near Lincoln

What do you do for living?;
Product Quality Manager for a rather large Oil Company

Since when are you in the Hobby?
Since 3rd Edition, so I am thinking around 29 years?

How did you get into the Hobby and what have you done since then?
I had moved to a new school and the bloke assigned to looking after me had snuck back into school with one of his mates to play a board game - That game turned out to be bloodbowl. Obviously we got caught, but the detention was worth it!

Since then? I have played mostly GW games, I am a lover of the old specialist series and 40K 2E.
Oh and I run and own Bugmansbrewery.com

Which armies do you play?
Dwarven Holds, Undying Dynasties, Highborn Elves, Orc and Goblins and Empire of Sonnstahl

Would love a vermin swarm army

Why do you support the 9th Age project?
Because I want to play a wargame which has wizards and montsers, ranked up units of infantry, miniatures I take off as they die, cannons I can shoot the bad guys with etc. But I want a system where I am no longer tied to a company so I am free to use what miniatures I like

What is your personal role in the 9th Age project team?
Part of the Hobbyteam Animation Team (HAT)
Anything you don't like about the hobby?
28 years of gaming and I still can't paint well. I thus mostly these days Dip and it achieves an affect that TBH on the battlefield looks highly effective!

Anything else we need to know?
I am the Owner of http:/www.Bugmansbrewery.com. Erm, I Played Warhammer FB since 3rd Edition and a true 40k 2E fan!! Bring back Specialist Games too!!
