And on December 24th, Father Chaos brought us... A brand new army book for Daemon Legions!

Von Blonde Beer,

We are very happy to release a new addition to the The Ninth Age Fantasy battles supplement line, in the form of the Scenario Supplement.

While you can find several scenarios in the main rulebook for The 9th Age: Fantasy Battles, we have received requests for additional scenarios to play.
In this booklet, you will find a number of these, that are less focused on balanced tournament play, but have a stronger focus on narrative play.

This booklet is made of three different sections, for three different types of scenarios. The first one repertories a list of Gaming Scenarios. Gaming Scenarios are simple and intended to be used as an alternative to the default scenarios of The 9th Age: Fantasy Battles. Usually, they only change the deployment and the secondary objective and thus can be used in everyday gaming, without special preparation.

The second part consists of Narrative Scenarios. They completely change the win conditions, have special rules, change deployment types and can even change army building rules. You need to agree on such a scenario with your opponent before building your list.
They offer more narrative aspects, and can easily be included in a campaign. The win conditions are not necessarily symmetric, and the balance is less guaranteed than in a Gaming Scenario.
Finally, you can find at the end a couple of Add-Ons. They’re small changes to the base game.

This release is still in the ALPHA phase, meaning feedback from the community will be gathered (you can leave your feedback in this topic) and used to improve this release for the future.
