  • Quote from Uthegen: “I plan to go for the English warriors auxiliary books afterwards. I wanted to start with them after vacation but I am not set with how to do them (seperate, in the Chaos Armybook or with other player aids, etc.) ” Can´t wait All three variations sound fine. Just Makhar and Asklanders together would be the classic way though.

  • Quote from Litoperez: “My only question after etc is why in a metagame full of monster cavalry/infantry there where no more rockets and not a single inquisitor? ” Regarding rocket batteries I´m surprised too. They are not only helpful against monsters but also offer fine counter-battery-fire and threaten chariots and monstr. Infantry. And cheap! My current list includes two and I won´t swap them anytime soon. My guess on the Inquistor: He may be fine, but most tournament players prefer the inbui…

  • Quote from Blurb: “Is it just me, or is the a problem with the update? ” I get an error message, but the programm works fine when I look at the lists.

  • Looking forward to your first pictures over here, welcome to the Empire I liked the great wall too and indeed the hounds storming the walls just look like some of Sonnstahls hated enemies... You already mentioned the most suitable companies, I`d like to add wargames foundy(true scale not heroic) for asian troops: wargamesfoundry.com/collection…-opium-war-1839-42?page=2

  • Fellow Empire Marshalls, Imperial Princes and Imperial Guardsmen! To support the update process, please help the project by participating in this survey: the-ninth-age.com/community/ne…-internal-balance-survey/ Please choose armies you either play on a regular base or armies you meet often on the opposing side of the battlefield. May Sunna bless you @Just_Flo

  • Quote from infamousme: “I think most people are overwhelmed with the shear amount of knights i bring to the table though. ” You squeezed in more than the 45 I did?

Quote from Raughri: “Not sure how true this is. I did some analysis of all the results and OnG were second best win percentage (56.67%), third best average points across all games (65.85) and third best average points per game (10.98). UD highest in all categories and KoE second in the two OnG was third (only just ahead in both cases). ” Data analysis team will know. But since the statistical middle is 60 points for 6 games, 65.85 isn´t wide off the mark- as well as the other two numbers this is…

Quote from Warboss Tooth: “*cough cough* not bad for the weakest ong list of the tournament ” To be fair, firthunands said he´d prefer to eat his words than be proven right. It was probably his way to motivate you Your performance was great, but also Mexico overall did a fine job. Since you started that team from Zero 3 years ago with the tedious task of finding mexican 9th Age players, that´s now an outstanding archievement. The best part about the OnG results is- they performed well but unlike…

  • Quote from Firthunands91: “But gnasers doesn't look like a good option, atleast to me. No musician so pretty immobile, and at 10 bodies, really easy to get evaporated ” Well, I face them the direction the ambushers most likely appear(deploying in a way they can´t threaten the wm from other places on that turn). Have you seen the gnashers stats? The Totemic Summon gets evaporated, not the gnasher herd. Against the kin eater it´s a different story, but then they can just move into its way and chaf…

  • I would use two times 10 gnasher herd to protect the WM if I had any. Cheapest way to guarantee they keep firing. Since I don´t use wm in my close combat oriented lists, I usually ignore the ambushers or send a giant or goblin hero their way.

  • Quote from KrogGar: “if you ppl use unitfillers for the lance formation knights? ” A buddy of mine just puts less knights on the bases than intended. So two in a rank where three should be, but not in the first rank(for optical reasons).

  • Regarding the imfamous "hippogriff knights" Looks like the heavy peg/chevalier options with 50 x 50 base pleases everyone, right? People could use their hippogriff models or conversions if they like or just take pegasus models(they could potentially upgrade the barding or build fancy unit fillers too, whatever). That´s a unit with multiwounds and grinding potential and another awesome sight on the battlefield. They don´t mess with the Low Fantasy theme of the army but still offer something new(b…

  • Quote from Marcos24: “You either ruin an army's character until its far from what it originally was to ” Did knights Forlorn for example ruin the army´s character? Quote from Marcos24: “non-stop but adding and changing and adding and changing, which will NEVER end (people will always want more), ” Isn´t that a bit exaggerated? I proposed the careful implementation of a few new units over the years, some of them aren´t exactly new(like hippogriff models). None will take KoE away from you or turn …

  • First: Wall of text incoming, Sorry for that(couldn´t find a better solution) Quote from Phosphorus: “ Quote from greentide: “I´m surprised about the negative feedback for the idea of implementing new units. Hippo knight units- "we don´t need that" An equitannian Dragon- "why not just kill it outright" (instead of taming the beast like hippogriffs before) An equitannian angel- "weird idea, maybe if I can use another model" It means just more options, what is so horrible about that? The fluff isn…

Hippo knight units- "we don´t need that" An equitannian Dragon- "why not just kill it outright" (instead of taming the beast like hippogriffs before) An equitannian angel- "weird idea, maybe if I can use another model" It means just more options, what is so horrible about that? The fluff isn´t worked yet out in every detail, surely it would be possible to justify those units and give them a fitting background. At t…

  • Would appreciate interviews with our fellow Empire mate @Fthunder or ACS KoE @tulmir or even both if possible. About the state of the game or their army. Chatted with them on the forums, saw their armies on YT, but actually never the guys themselves in interviews or the like

  • They look fantastic I remember when people said they wouldn´t fit on 20 x 20 ". Looks like your rebasing technique did the trick.

Quote from Firthunands91: “Nothing against him but I feel Orcs really need magic support in cc and with only a master pyro you don't really get to do it properly. ” I see where you´re coming from, expecially since many O&G generals add that juicy shamanism orc mage. But magic support for close combat could still suffice for Chihammer´s greenskinz: He has access to flaming swords(+1 to wound and flaming) and bring the pain(reroll hits in CC) and remember cascading fire can also be cast into C…
