  • Quote from Remy77077: “.. from most lists I see, Common Orcs (at least on foot) are almost dead in T9A too tbh (outside of a few min 20s with a musician, I assume these are just Shaman 'bunkers') ” nah, I run common orcs I also run my vs without a tower or mill It’s just not super competitive, but it is fun.

  • Yea, I’m really liking those punga minis - too bad so much of my army is 90’s metal

  • 25-28mm but more like historical in scale. The monsters are ok, but I find wizkids slender and small, even compared to reaper.

  • There’s still some floating around... but yea... common orca are dead to gee dubs

  • DO those conversion change the plastic clan rats into those minis?

  • Defensive skill isn't about getting hit on a 5+ Its about NOT getting hit on a 3+ I do agree that we could look at narrowing the OS/DS gap in 3.0 - whenever that would be years from now, but its so minor as to not matter. Also, low DS really matters - DS2 means almost everyone is hitting you on 3+, with some hitting you on 2+ While the DS value decreases the higher you go, that does get taken into consideration when costing things. I also think that bigger units should always equal lower DS - As…

I would go to the army forums and see what “other kits” need concerting. A lot of EoS and KoE players use historicals, but not everything is there. 3d embossed banners and totems for the new WDG/DL gods and their symbols would be awesome (just leave it open to be used with brass rods, so they can be added to any existing kits) There’s also things like oathmark dwarves that don’t have handguns, oathmark elves with Xbox conversion for DE players, elven riders to fit on historical horses and chario…

  • We’ve had similar issues with some major events here being run by ardent GW fanboys. They intentionally keep us out of their events - what’s worse is they’re the group that does the 40k ETC, so they know how big t9a is. Like I said, let’s use this to bypass the big events run by narrow minded people, and use it to find smaller more intimate events that we can use to grow the scene. We don’t always need tourneys, just the ability to demo and introduce new gamers at a small convention!

  • wait, that game was finally released?

  • Great stuff as always!

  • Quote from Swelt: “1D4con is a small tabletop convention in May located in WV. They have a game room that allows for demos. I think this year they had something like 400+ attendees. ” Added!

  • Quote from Squirrelloid: “I'm just going to point out that Milwaukee is in WI, so might want to get Nexus moved to the right place. ” *am Canadian, will correct

  • First post has been updated. Keep an eye out for any other con’s! The high reward way we can grow the game is to run demo events at these shows! Usually it gets you free entry as well!

welcome! We have a few players in London and Kitchener, and a few others up in missisisauga. The facebook group is usually where events get first posted.

  • But will it work for my 15mm AWI stuff? I’ll probably buy some to do my Roman project whenever that happens

Quote from Ghiznuk: “Meanwhile, in Southern France… One club reposted this quaint scene of Ninth Age demo day happening around some local fair. Demo 1500 points armies were up for grabs for the new players and their families. 66386448_842087529498497_1764861027532406784_o.jpg ” Flipping Amazing way to get the young-ins!
