  • On magic area, tried Witchcraft in 5 games and the reduction of MR hit that quite hard (-1/-1 on last spell was not enough). Most armies had mr2 on 2 units and all spells are hexes so all casting rolls are actually -2 when it matters. This helps deathstars with augment compared MSU with hex.

    I think idol was very useful and maybe the MVP of non-daemonic parts. It was crucial in all games. Sadly KoE Scorpions killed it with 3 shots fired... but in SE game killed one unit of dryads and diverted a lot of attention to himself. In last game it had a dance with Gortach about opposing scoring unit and managed to keep that stupid model out of killing my whole army. on top of that Giant managed to kill one uinit of ambushers and one divert while doing that.     Tournament over. Was fun, but bit frustrating also, as I got always shorter end and army was sadly in some cases a bit slow to play due to daemon appearance.     Trying cultists in tournament. My few test games earlier did 2 losses, but bit was fun so why not continue that fun in tournament. here is list.   • Shooting is in the end points game as it is "free rolls" unlike bad melee DL unit which will just die to CR, I think we will get that in better spot in future.     We double all points. Make bow S1 range Pi and add DT from open terrain to all units. Nah we did some minor adjustments with points mostly. Did my favorite change as engineer and added insignificant to herd... why was that not there before... but we get it out soon. Scoring is challenge and I hope it does not hamper you overly much as I feel on fluff side that is how the roaming mounted armies operate.     yes that! I would definitely keep Throwing weapons. Was key in winning DH mirror and getting 5+ TPs in main-event. The vampire kill and elf kills at least. Would not change anything I was mostly dubious about the 10 vanguard dwarves but they worked well enough.

    Lucky year The vangurad list does put immerse pressure on enemy and small mistakes or even one failed march test can be end of enemy list. I took lot of risks where bit above averages rolls would bring big wins, they happened enough and got those results. -olli

  • I like the simplicity and the points as every choise feels it is not too cheap. H spell: Div 4 does same thing as this, but bit better. (ofc not for shooting). How about adding conditional Flaming there too, for the best anti-special save spell. ( 7+ [7+] gains Divine attacks [flaming attacks] ) ? Also all characters have div attacks so this is kinda not bringing that much new to the table. I like the additions on Prelate and Inquisitor. The Arch Prelate addition is great though it might be over…

  • Seems my campaingn will start in 37 minutes... or do we have a CET starting time I decided to look if I have few vermins I could paint alongside some designs... found out I had over 50 assembled and based models (doing bit of custom coblestone bases) ready for priming...     3+ horses should lose light troops. On the other hand 4+ could still be ok. We could also make flayers less all rounders and more focused on killing beasts with price being main tool also making flayers max 5+ and horse archers 4+ Would that be more in line with your vision of the units?
