    Here here! I’ve posted your feedback to RT this morning guys. I would like to thank those of you who followed the format quickly and cleanly for my a while back! It made organizing much quicker. I would also like to say that I’ve read this forum every day and although my posting \ replying has been slow I am not falling behind on intake of information! Great job on good discussion guys, now it’s in RTs hands to keep providing the balancing act they do with a lot of class!

    BIG NEWS: guys I got the deadline for reporting back to RT about this Update but I need your help! Between RL stuff and keeping up with the ongoing LAB following this update has probably been my biggest challenge. I’ve ready as many posts (I think almost all but please don’t quiz me!) here but I want to clean it up a bit. If you’ll do my a favor and answer the following questions it will greatly help our book! 1. What should see an increase that didn’t get one, or what increase should be greater…

  • I would love to see the boosted version at something on top of the re roll.

  • I’m not sure why this casting is so high. It is a hex which means multiple units can benefit from it. I think an 11+ would be more reasonable as there are almost no more 12+ casting values. But this accompanied with very little viable shooting in the army book does seem too high. Perhaps an upgraded version that furthers CC to output would be more fitting? I’ll ask RT on the casting value

    I mean, I’ve got 2 units of 10 in my list right now... they are almost the same points as raptor chariots and their out put is much higher.

    So this patch has really seen some great internal balancing happen. Aux are getting in the ball park. I played a game with them last night, just a unit of 10, and the plunked wounds off my opponents big block of warriors. We were in combat by round 2 so they didn’t perform crazy good or anything but added to the list I brought. They are worth bringing to clear chaff. Also, spears at 20+ are cheaper, Small Corsair blocks are doable (I’m thinking 15 or so). I also ran 8 raptors and a dread prince …

    Keep two things in mind please: 1. I will be opening more targeted threads for feedback this weekend, so get some games in and TEST any complaints or concerns. Point increases do not automatically make something wrong. Wandering familiar was due for a hike, let’s see if it was too much or too little since this is beta! 2.     Yea all the things that got hit were over used items. Also, this is a beta phase so let’s get some games in and give some feed back. “My list went up” is incomplete information and we want to pin point why something went up as much as it has. Almost every infantry entry went down.

    Great news Dread Lords and Ladies! The anticipated points update is LIVE! And here is what we need. Look them over, ponder them, try to see how external/internal balance is affected. Play some games, try the things you think will no longer work, try some things you’ve never considered until now. Then, once you’ve got a chance to really check, throw that feedback at us.   • I like most of the ideas here! The project is still in the concept phase so specific mechanics have not been fleshed out or discussed but I know the words “versatile” has been used a lot when discussing aux. so that’s pretty similar to most of the ideas posted on here.

  • @Peacemaker I can confirm there will be BOTH elves and monsters in the new book... In all seriousness items/actual mechanics are probably a little bit in the future. I believe the conceptual stage is still going! I’m more interested in what our update will look like.

    I’m not sure what you mean? This thread was created to further engage community hobby aspect. I searched for relevant active threads before creating it. Last activity was March, and therefore over the 4 month threshold I was looking for. Besides, head of ACS wants more engagement from its team members, and for me, hobby talk is the most fun!

    Also keep in mind that the gap between each teir is way lower than ever before. In fact it’s mostly the outliers where you would see any real significant percentile changes. The last 14 man 1 day tournament I went to me and the guy who won it played our DE against each other at the top table, and both our lists were pretty infantry heavy (considered sub par).   • Im wondering if we will have more luck trying to create better tools for hunting shooting units or clearing bunkers rather than rules that mitigate their effects. It also would fit the guidelines in regards to playing aggressive.
