Quote from Ghiznuk: “In general people (such as you, who are one the most active here) are not aware that we released a bunch of « non-tournament » supplements this year for the casual and « cookie-loving » crowd. It's not really a problem with announcing that those supplements have been released : they were released, it appeared in the news. But then, it stayed there. We need to have something more than that. For example, the Makhar army was correctly announced by a pre-release Battle report (a…

Quote from Ghiznuk: “They're all on the Downloads page, though The Lands of the Ninth Age had quite a good introduction to it written by LittleJoe in the Ninth Scroll 15, with a nice review of all its different features. But, again, there was scant official communication about it. Makhar had a nice presence in several Ninth Scroll – a full battle report of their beta prior to their release, and 4 pages of dense fluff in the Scroll together with the release. On the other hand, new Flux Cards seem…

Quote from Ghiznuk: “This year, we've had - Lands of the Ninth Age - Scenario Booklet - New Magic Cards - 2 supplement armies - Pirates' Peril That's all stuff for the non-tournament crowd. And more such stuff is coming. Maybe they should be promoted and used more, but I mean, I can't be in your garage trying to convince you to play with them. Apart from that, we are soon getting the new ID and DE books. And what else can we do ? If not step-up PR. ” I've only heard of the scenario booklet.

It is quite clear that T9A now has a time table with ToW coming out S O O N ™ What is the plan going forward with T9A to make sure it cements its place in the gaming world? What is the plan going forward to ensure the player base keeps rising and doesn't stagnate? Some of these updates is already causing hackles to be raised in a lot of the communities during this beta, and it provoked me to make this post. A stable tournament rule set indeed, but what is going to be done to make sure those not …

  • Quote from Wesser: “Quote from Rellzed: “No more 3 bats (and @Wesser to answer at your question in the old topic, it was fun, it wasn't over power and it was a new playstyle for this army ) Altar still at the same price, cadaver wagon still useless, nosferatu idem, Vk the same... To me it seems that the whole army is in the same internal balance of the 2.0, but worse external and more boring. ” Later Ill fill you a bit more in. As for the triple bat though. I told RT that the problem was an imag…

  • Quote from SkargitCrookfang: “Not sure why I'm in the quote there @Grouchy Badger - I thought it was kind of funny how it worked out! ” Woop, sorry, I must have clicked yours on accident. I have big thumbs.

  • Quote from eggsPR: “If I can be more specific, I feel really baited and switched, and rules team should be ashamed of themselves. October updates largely nerfed VC, but these nerfs were attempted to be justified by buffing character mounts. Ok.... fine then. December updates largely nerfed character mounts (Courtier mount, Barrow King Mount, and even design change about a.... you guessed it... mount), while not only KEEPING the October nerfs, but INCREASING the nerfs by making knights, Spawn and…

  • This is all seems like more random bs. Phanstom hosts, wraiths, and and Vampire Knights went up for some benign reason that I cant even quantify.

  • APPLYING LOGIC TO A FANTASY GAME?

  • S Quote from Sir_Sully: “Quote from Pigtails: “Okay Marcos, so do you suggest we rename trebuchets to catapults? ” I think that @Marcos24 has a point on this but I think he'll be one of the first to admit that we're not going to lose the trebuchet now. It's become iconic to the army and although it makes very little sense, it's here to stay. The fluff team might be able to make up a decent excuse as to their use....Quote from Pigtails: “I take it you've taken this issue up with the other armies …

Seems like the only difference between them is +1CR. ” Well as your ACS I try to test everything in the book no matter how bad (cept Wraiths on Revenant). But the Army also had a Big unit Wrait…
