  • Quote from Little Joe: “Yes, it is one of the 7 planned shields. Each entry will get one. 8 shields if @Calisson can pick one of his designs. ” Well, if possible, I would like to use an authenticate design. (Hidden Content)

  • P.2: for some reason, graphic authors are always mentioned. Visual inspiration Pictures by Snook-8 donated to T9A by Karak Norn Clansman with author’s agreement: p.1, 6, 11. Quote from Eldan: “"Ninth Age" is not translated, though. Neither is "Fantasy Battles". The translation teams were specifically told not to translate the name of the game. ” The only things which are never translated are the acronym, T9A, and the small logo, . The words "The 9th Age" and "Fantasy Battles" may or may not be translated according to the policy of various linguistic communities.

Your name as contributor would better be in alphabetical order than last. (Hidden Content) I am still not satisfied with a few things, but I forced myself to stop here. I hope at least some of my ideas are acceptable, but I am serious when I say that I won't be offended if you undo it all and go back to 2.3. Mostly great , only a few changes to re…

Quote from Eol: “Well, I don’t see where is the the problem... welcome back GW, we will continue having new and very good minis for some of our 9th age armies. ” Corrected for you. I don't expect them to develop models for ID, KoE, UD, IC or the 18th LAB, nor most Aux armies, nor most Homebrew armies. This said, I wish they surprised us.

  • We decided deliberately to drop the "undead" rule for most units, given that the jungle environment would decay skeletons and corpses in little time. The zombies are not supposed to last long, nor the cannibals. Also, Pygmies and jungle animals are well alive. Mixing undead and living units in an army may create high internal complexity which results to be more a hindrance than anything for the player. - at least, so it appears for a non-VC player -.

  • Nice to see the book in the hand of someone more proficient in gameplay. About Adze Bloodline, the firefly vampires and the choice of Lamia portrait I could work on that if you wish and try to make it more African.

Not sure it was an application for BGT. Rather a discussion about would-be independant authors who could write novels in T9A universe, a la Black Library. Ghiznuk indicated that due to our unreliable narrator policy, such authors would need to apply to BGT to get God's vision from which to elaborate their plots, else risking to deliver stories incompatible with T9A internally-developed BG. I would love to think that if professional authors contacted us, there could be a status granted to them, s…

  • Quote from Glakthag: “I've decided the most fun way for me to do this is to just edit the book directly with my ideas. ” The latest Word source document is found here: the-ninth-age.com/community/in…ostID=1271549#post1271549 Please download it and move on - first thing is to update the version number. I did try my best to reflect Voodoo lore, with some adaptations. There is no ghost that I would know in Voodoo, only spirits. Feel free to update as you feel fit, just provide us the explanations (…

  • Quote from Karak Norn Clansman: “2016 - ... - The community-driven wargame the Ninth Age (T9A) is launched... ” It was 2015. The initial impetus for the project was in a post on The Warhammer Forum written on June 30, 2015. The first versions of the rules were delivered on July 11, 2015.

Quote from Grahf: “Is there a gentle soul that can do a recap for me? A company called Games Workshop is going to release teasing the community about square bases and a game called "Old World" that has some similarities to T9A Warhammer, which could be inspired from what it was before being blown up by same company - but don't expect anything for two or three years because they haven't really started yet, they just want to see the reaction to their teasing. ” Corrected for you The only fact is t…

Quote from VisconteDimezzato: “Being bold, both with fluff and rules is the only way giving a chance to us. ” Still, we want to keep most models playable.

  • Quote from JimMorr: “Q. Is there a chance for more balance-focused approach? At least internal-balance? Currently Auxuliary books borrow not only statistics but also point values from main books. The result is when main book gets point update internal balance in Auxiliary is often wasted.. A. Some care is given to balance of Aux Books, but not much more than adjusting the obvious. Certainly not the high care given to the main 16. ”

  • Thanks, your feedback will be taken into account in the next edition. - Why do you want to merge the Orishas? - Please suggest a better Asambosam. - Please suggest a better Pygmy war Chief. - War Mask is a war mask, not a heavy armor, cannot name it armor because of the background. Still, it may be enchanted. - Special Pygmies: please suggest. For the suggestions, I don't mind having very detailed suggestions, I do mind having very vague directions which let me do all the work. Thanks for the ap…

  • A reply from one with a red tag. Quote from Kasperero: “I have a lot of questions about the process of new factions being incorporated into T9A. So I will just list them here! :p 1. How do new factions come to be accepted into T9A? A. Executive Board decides. The new faction must be desirable in terms of background and in terms of new playstyle. It must expect to meet popular success, and must have some models already available, otherwise it won't be picked up. 2. Will there be more factions the…

Actually, background is super important. The acrimony against AoS wasn't only against round bases. It was also against blowing up a setting to which players were attached. T9A exists to give back players control over their hobby. It is also what links together all T9A games.
