Subjugator builds
PostI think that you want a Cowboy that can deal with everything, but I won't qualify something like that as being positive for the game (and you wouldn't like the price if it was true ) Good designs have weakness that make the game interesting and challenging.

PostSorry, but It won't change. Weapons being "One choice only" is something like a general directive, take WDG as an example.

Does (s)he stand a chance against same-points characters from other books? Slim book: with only 2HP and a low elite equipment, it will be hard that it can stand against other characters, I can see it being very vulnerable to lucky swings from the opponent. LAB: we already made public that the LAB would have "Vassals" instead of hobgoblins. This is done to include all the different races that are under the control of ID empire. Of course, it could be said that hobgoblins are the most relevant vas…

Implementing relevant flaming/flammable synergies wasn't a random decision for the LAB Team. If you read the ID guidelines about Masters of Fire: "This theme should also be featured as one of the main sources of synergy in this army." "should be a key pillar of the faction identity" "The core of this synergy should be about using the combination of flaming and flammable" .etc So, it was a requirement to follow this path, but still a requirement that some team members happily followed. PS: Don't …

To my understanding, It doesn't exist such thing as "definitive guidelines". Guidelines (even the DE ones) are meant to be a living document that gets updated as the team feels that is needed. So, you may publish/translate the last version, but the DE guidelines will probably see "frequent" updates, unless everything about them is already perfect (no changes at all for the ID guidelines since we are way past that point). For requesting access to the latest ID guidelines, contact @Windelov

May I say that this surprised me as much as did to you? Quote from BondageGoatZombie: “Anyone knows what the letter in the news is supposed to tell us? That's not the spoiler I have was looking for ” Seems like the most awesome way to update the community about the status of the ID LAB Team. Don't know who wrote it, but thank you. "Engineer Gomio" took me more than 10 years back to the good "Warhammer Online" times. For what it's worth, Im pushing for releasing more information about the ID LAB …

PostKadim units have Fearless. Kadim units are indeed insignificant for dwarves. Infernal Engine has Fearless too.

About the ammunitions, just take them as example. As DanT says, Tremor Ammunition could be Explosive Ammunition or something else. We presented it this way to show you that while we may don't have a Titan Mortar profile per se, a mortar mounted on infernal artillery chassis and with the correct ammunition should give you a very similar gameplay experience (and some new options should be available too). Its not sure if "every" weapon will be able to take "every" ammunition, but the idea is that e…

PostTwo-Handed Attack Attribute doesn't refer to a weapon type, is an Attack Attribute that means that with that weapon you can't use shield in combat. So, the weapon just adds +1 Strength in combat. Page 114 of Rulebook 21.G.b.22 Two-Handed A model using a weapon with Two-Handed cannot simultaneously use a Shield against Melee Attacks.

PostI don't know when a new reveal will happen, but I know that the first steps have been made to make it happen. Don't expect actual rules or point changes because we haven't reached there yet, we are building our work from conceptual level and ending the foundations that will let us "soon" add that mechanical layer.

Hi guys, it's been long time without posting in the public forum, as you may guess, we are busy trying to make the best LAB possible for you. Just an advice from your old ACS: Don't waste this golden opportunity trying to guess if the giant's armour will be 4+ or 3+, etc. It will be an unfruitful way of spending your time, because not even the LAB Team know such final details yet. Use this opportunity (and others that should come later) to be "the wind inside our design sails" or to give tools t…

PostHobgoblins with spears and bows. I tried with a pair of units (28/30 models) and the rest of core in a big unit of flintlocks with the prophet inside and warmachines behind. But I had a BSB to keep everything in place.

PostIve played a few times using only a "Pyro adept + heirloom+ engineer". You get a lot of utility for a low price (general, engineer and magic phase). For me, it worked really well in a gunline list. Surround the character with as many: flintlocks, hobbows with lances, rocket battery, bolthrowers, flamethrowers you can. Flaming Swords is painfully strong with units that can shoot and fight; also "haze + fireball or flamethrower" makes it really hard for the opponent. The problem is when your oppon…
