Quote from Shako: “One solution I'm pondering is removing the channel, removing the bound spell completly and just have it as a shooting wagon using veil tokens (details still up for discussion, instead of 1 hit per veil token maybe just spend 3 for d3 extra hits per unit?, maybe a maximum of 1 or 2 veil tokens spend). Then the Blood Ties for Nosferatu could give access to a bound spell of Arise for example. ” some thing akin to the catapult would be cool. Range 24 Inflicts 1 + 1 wound per rank …

Quote from Mirdhynn: “Quote from Folomo: “Quote from Herminard: “BH still remain pretty much a mono-mode army. ” This I think is a really important discussion. What play-styles should BH have? ” I would say at least a heavy ambush possibility based on the wildhorns and longhorns. Which means that we need some rework on them. This is a paradoxal situation where we should flufficly speaking an army of ambush and we have to play centered on our general because our troops are not autonomous. ” I do f…

Quote from Shako: “And then everybody can tell me how off I am with the points (I really am not a top player and shouldn't be doing points, I expect I'll either under- or overcost stuff. ” there is no value in assigning points. 1. It will redirect the conversation 2. The lab team will borrow ideas not points

for the abomination I think the rules are just to clunky. Getting to chose from a list is tiresome. Just feel tacked on, doesn't seem to make sense . For all the ghost bois don't like the direction. I see them as all ambushers, no magic conclave. Can't be healed normally. A special feigned flight charge reaction they must use. Movement characteristics like adv1, March 12 I dunno, but something truly unique and different

I love all if it except, the grotesk abomination And the whole suffering section. The rest of the changes are very smart.

  • Quote from KiRaHyuU: “@Cam you made my day! Got me SO GOOD! Sigh** this is why we don't share things until they're set in stone...and even then "always subject to change" ” I had such a big chuckle hahahaha.

I agree with @Willzilla I'm playing an of meta list with all nabh, and Spartans and auxiliaries. No monsters or dragons And yet, my list got more expensive. The changes to a bsb altar with moreacs, and 1 chariot totaly offset the changes to everything else. Secondly since most of the core changes only mean more core due to the percent requirements. So in the more fun categories things just got tighter. For me the altar bsb is the steam tank of De. It's a u issue piece even if it went up another …

  • Quote from Idum: “40 LH + General is ~1400 VP for your opponent, how could you score 20-0? ” that was all he got, I managed to kill every thing else. Was a very swingy game. So 4900 - 1400 is 3500

Quote from Scumboogie: “ Does anybody here have experience with BIG units of Longhorns? By BIG I mean 32-40. Did you have a Beast Lord or BSB in the unit? What else did you have? These things can be made to work. ” I am by no means a strong beasts player. But this is what I've been playing long horns - 585 - Soothsayer, Raiding Chariot, Wizard Master, Shamanism, Light Armour (Trickster's Cunning), Hand Weapon (Ancestral Carvings), Seed of the Dark Forest 415 - Beast Lord, General (Hunting Call),…

  • your army BH opponent's army SE score: 20-0 MVP: Soothsayer chariot with sacrification and tricksters cunning. LVP: 40 longhorns with general who turn 2 fled from 4 kestrals knights and were cut down.

Quote from DanT: “The point is that a well played coherent combat battleline is hard to engage, because of how the units mutually support. ” Agreed, if your talking about in the front. But like you say there are many units with either enough movement, fly or ambush, portal, etc. that have the ability to circumvent the battle line and hence engage in a safe way. For me this is regardless of chaff. However in some of these cases, chaff like units can buy the required time to engage the enemy preve…

Quote from marcema: “Isn't everything in every game dependant on not messing up or having bad luck? Even if you have chaff, it might still be that you mess up using it resulting in trouble. ” ok let me articulate more. It's unreasonable to assume you can hold the middle and both flanks. Regardless of luck. Unless it's a exact mirror match and deployment is mirrored. Hence we can assume that on one of your flanks the enemy has more forces than you. You will need to play a retreating flank. Hence,…

  • why is prince on eagle so bad? Mis matched base with kestrals, no kindreds, etc?

  • Quote from Eymuster: “Call them Tower Knights, give base attack 2, of/def6 Ridiculously expensive, but effective. also: bodyguard(prince / captain on raptor) to facilitate using larger units? ” like probably 70ppm, no thanks. I'd rather current design.

  • well guess the nerfs wasn't enough. Vc most popular army by a huge margin. And nerfed units still spammed. My hope is they all get pummeled

Quote from marcema: “No, as mentioned before the countercharge units are rhamphadons, carnosaur, taurosaurs for example. Meaning that you have to deploy your units well, when the time is right, go for action and m8 flyers, m6/7 monsters will do the job most of the time. ” This seems dependant on neither of your flanks collapsing.

Quote from marcema: “What if, ofcourse when you play DL, maybe you cant do it with your TG. Also, with this tactic, you ofcourse should anticipate on the fact that your opponent doesn't bite. Ensure that your opponent has to or else you charge him. This tactic is build om either you charge me and i get a countercharge or if you don't i charge you anyway with multiple units. Positioning is essential, ensure your opponent cant get out of range and out of sight. Together with Ramphadons which have …
