  • Quote from Stygian: “Forgive me if this is the wrong place but I'm just curious what people feel is a fair price for the last wardancer models that were produced? That would be the 6th edition models iirc.. pewter. ” Their weight and pointiness makes them perfect missiles against players with too good dice As soon as your dealing with metal models there's no "fair" anymore. Many - including me - would barely want it for free... others want to pay more than they cost when they were new..

  • Quote from nantuko: “I haven't read the full tread so if this has already been proposed please disregard my post. What I would like to see in the new book is another type of monster, something like a fairy dragon or similar. It could be a pure glass cannon mobile mini monster as opposite to tree father: WS5 A5 ST5 AP3 R5 W5 AGI4 Fly7 D3 stomp (Large, Beast) no armor, no ward but some cool abilities like "The forest mist: the model gains hard target 1, this ability is given to all friendly units …

  • I don't understand the issue with big units, and especially Line formation, Step-up and Supporting Attacks. Sure the killing may seem out of hands at times, but then again it is these things keeping heroes from dominating the game as well as giving units of Goblins, Skeletons and Rat-at-arms the ability to cause some damage now and then. I don't relish the memories of 6th edition and earlier where good honest standard infantry never got to land a blow, and huge honking units look smashing on the…

  • The only issue I've had with this is playing the special "Multiple Objectives" scenario and getting an objective requiring a Scoring unit to be in enemy deployment BEFORE Turn 4. Pretty unique

Quote from eggsPR: “One quicksilver lash and you’re dead. ” Well even if no cavalry is around he can hide in some skeletons or such to take max 1 hit if alchemy is around (or Organ guns or similar nastiness).

  • Quote from Hachiman Taro: “If only there were big tree like models with giant bows available... ” Don't go there... that concept is dummer than selling earmuffs to oisters (IMO)

  • BOTD - WDG Encircle/Secure Target WDG concedes in Turn 4 (Although objective would probably be drawn and I lost 2x5 Vampire Knights) MVP: Swordskelly units with Counts LVP: My dice (Incredible you can win when Rolling so many 1’s)

  • Hardhitting, maneuverable unit are the bane of any Dwarf army Spectral Hunters, small Vampire Knights units (especially BOTD) and hard characters (Eternity Gem comes recommended against cannons) gives dwarves a lot headaches. The big issue is Seekers when spammed. Seekers are IMO blazingly overpowered and they beat pretty much everything in our book. Barrow Guard and multiple Arise spells are so far my best bet for beating them

  • Many of those are holding weapons and arrows... weirdly..

Back to english or Ill start throwing out “Ø’s” or Call in the russians!

  • Decent idea about Skellies and Wraiths, but maybe keep Skeletal Horsemen to UD. I like many ideas, but overall you got too many unique special rules IMO

Seems we Can soon expect Eternity Gem to be 105 points. Same combo chain-spammed

  • Goblins-WDG (Marching Columns/Spoils of War) 20-0 (Opponent concede in Turn 2) MVP: Thaumathurgy WD LVP: Thaumathurgy WD (Yes, rly) In Turn 1 my Master Thaumathurgy WD killed himself casting Comet, but in his Turn he failed to move properly around the impact, so it came crashing down killed a Hellmaw, his Herald a unit of Fallen, his Sorcerer (that was all his magic then) as well as a a Dragon Ogre and some Warriors. His Greed Knights were dying to Cave Goblins next turn and his chaff was certai…

  • Sprite Swarms Basically they need to be debuff fliers similar to Bat Swarms, but make their debuff something wacky

  • Quote from Adam: “Quote from arwaker: “I agree mostly, but I'm not so sure that this hits the nail perfectly. Let us for a short moment forget about the existence of MoCT. Just imagine every army could have the BSB on a mage model. I think lots players will do it (sure it depends on the specific army), just because in most cases both don't want to go toe to toe, neither the mage nor the BSB. Having them combined in one model simply saves lots of points. I think that in such a case, the BSB for m…

  • Quote from Adam: “Quote from Wesser: “Quote from cptcosmic: “Quote from Wesser: “The best way to measure the eliteness IMO is to add OWS, DWS and DI, while power can be measured by STR, Res, HP and A ” maybe in a storybook having high skill can be counted as being "elite" but on the table mechanically having high S, RES and HP is very much the most elite thing you can have, those are the king stats which scale very well, especially together if you have all of them at high values ” Ehm.. noThat's…

  • Quote from arwaker: “So you say that in case of HE unit X gets +1OS and -1S that will increase its eliteness.according to your definition? ” Frankly yes Sure, it gets less powerful overall, but is more skilled/better trained I mean look at your definition. You declared the "Me break wiv' club" model more elite than the Elf Swordmaster

  • Quote from cptcosmic: “Quote from Wesser: “The best way to measure the eliteness IMO is to add OWS, DWS and DI, while power can be measured by STR, Res, HP and A ” maybe in a storybook having high skill can be counted as being "elite" but on the table mechanically having high S, RES and HP is very much the most elite thing you can have, those are the king stats which scale very well, especially together if you have all of them at high values ” Ehm.. no That's the stats you associate with being a…

  • Quote from arwaker: “Quote from AlexCat: “Who is more elite: HBE Swordmaster or OK Tribesman? ” Not so easy to compare directly, but if you still insist on, imho the Tribesman is clearly more elite. In most situations it is just better to have a Tribesman than a Sworsmaster. (if your army could directly chose between them without having to pay) ” This is where the whole argument breaks down Elite and power is not the same The best way to measure the eliteness IMO is to add OWS, DWS and DI, while…
