Quote from Mirdhynn: “BH seems to be the celt army in reality. perhaps not a shared vision but this what the army makes me thinking ” Just be glad that the BH come with at least loincloths then. Personally though I thought they were more Visigoth/Ostrogoth-like.

  • I personally think that the actual GW Chimera looks kinda pants. It needs a lot of fixing to look like a decent model by itself.

  • I gotta say... Teclis does look like a nun with a chakram stuck on their forehead.

  • Quote from jirga: “Is that sold separately? It would fit the aesthetics of my tiger with human face chimera so if the price isn't too crazy I'll get that. ” It's £25. Which by its size and GW's standards is actually very reasonable. I have been looking forward to the other model coming out with it for a while.

  • Quote from Happy Aspid: “Question what do you think about this Kitty's potential to become good wingless chimera? (Both normal and mount) 99120201109_MindstalkerSphiranx01.jpg About sister of silence - I never seen them before (from 360 degrees) but now can only agree - they have 0 high tech elements on them. Only problem could be a size. ” Size is no issue, it's quite large. There has been a few pictures of them next to Chaos Warriors and the Cyclops guy.

Quote from arnadil: “Go, Beasts! Thanks for posting this, @PTG-Lucky-Sixes! That was the Art of War in Bristol, wasn't it? I have been there last year. Awesome tournament, and a lot of players. Amazing that the only BH player won it. 10 chariots of course is a tough list, but I really would not have thought that this list is strong enough to win a major tournament. What do you guys think of this list? ” There were a LOT of elves around, so perhaps the meta had a bit of a helping hand? (Not takin…

Quote from youngseward: “If thats the only monster for sure. I assume pairing it with two gortachs will take focus off even a lone jabber. Also I will request that all replies come in the form of rhyming poetry ” When you only have one set of shadowed wings. The opponent will struggle to chaff these things. Prioritise the Jabborwock they will. Because of low defenses, it's cry you will soon hear is shrill. Once their arrows have rid of the flying beast. Attention they will turn to the rest of th…

Generally things are better with redundancy but I feel like a piece that is mainly complementary like the jabber Id think potentially two is overkill unless youre focussing on ld bomb type tactics. But I still haven’t actually played one... Im sure everyone on this thread will be an expert on it soon though! ” I have used the Jabberwock my son. It does not last long, at only one. Quote from Krokz: “Yeah something like Steam Tank can just take down whole Makhar army on its own :s ” Hence me leaning towards the recurve bow giants. Or as they are model-wise for me, Ballista Elephants.

Quote from Krokz: “I do think another answer are Flayers with their Lethal Strike. ” Constructs and infantry can still be a pain. WoDG Chosen have taught me that. Plus the Giants have a working short range of 31 inches; that's really good.

Quote from Krokz: “IMO army is very prone to heavy armored units. Even if you Charge barbarians are AP2. This is why I give Shield Breaker to Gyula. ” This is why I am planning to use two Recurve Bow Giants in my next list. Just to put pressure down on those sorts of units.
