    While we summon daemons I would like to some extent keep two thigs about realism: Scale of power and fighting cababilities. So for scale a basic cultis should be less skilled than EoS infantryman of his people. I think this is represented with offensive and defensive and also with discipline. Discipline does not meanin willingness to die but ability to do moves on the battlefiels like combat reform and march test.     It was monday,back to work, neck is cramped, and then I find this wonderfull feedback and feeling happy again Finally some time to dig in. The arhetypes! Yes, the gain vs cost is just not good. 350pts is like a lot of hitting power from DL list. What would be the ideal? The posseed gain most, and cultists next to nothing, save few hits on turn 1.     Pool all veils together. Summon, conver, discard to 3 (or to 6 if tendrils). Like 15. Summon daemons with 5. left 10 convert to 3 dice. save 1. Also remember: After 13.F Veil Token Limits (discard down to 3) you pool size is 6 again. So ledger and stuff work up to 6.     Thanks for all the feedback so far! Keep it coming. The more you tell about games the better. You cannot tell quality of hammer by its colour, just by using it. Same goes to armylists. So far I have gather some ideas / issues that stuck me. Most important was the how this army plays. There is not a lot of discussion about that.     @Sidereo Thank you for detailed and well thought of feedback! The issue of options is sadly one we have to tackle with changes, as we will not add more units.     Barbarians were in our mind with Kinslayers. And yes Zombies are bit beyond to join a cult, and ofc they have already joined Covenant (Though recruitment process is bit different ) Non altered version works also for Goblins (played that once) and with a bit of strech to Skinks.     They are unit that is herded to combat, but we streamlined the unit so it does not need the Herder units next to it. But that scene is essentially what makhar would do to break EoS (Their loving neighbour) battleline with fences and big infantry units. Find a suitable herd of Karkadans, steer them towards the battleline and then let them go to stampede towards the line. They are not part of regular army in any way but collected for the battle.     Is this in scope of this thread? How much does RT think we should aim to change designs before gold? How much big changes we should expect in final phase to stabilize book? on side note: Is the level of shooting power like O&G mentioned somewhere in guides? O&G can play army with 100% shooting models of 24"+ range.

    Finally got myself a game with Makhar. Used mounted goblins and orcs and super random monster pile as Karkadan Herd. (and many fillers in rear ranks) My list (Hidden Content) against (Hidden Content) Marching Columns and Breakthough I won 15-5 as I scored opbjective 1-0 Plan was to try out maximum avoidance and the Herd.     I'm on the other side of spectrum. Supplements should have more trickier and experimental mechanics as we can then implement on the main books if they work out. It is perfect place to try out some new stuff. So far I have not received feedback from opponents it being complicated. I plays differently and has lots of possibilities, but basics are not that difficult to understand.

    Played one more game yesterday with cultists against HbE. Lost ofc :). I played really silly and did not get my possesed to fight at all... Noticed something we might have a look at. - Dragon got was vanguard.. that was bit crazy.
