  • It’s also possible that the public didn’t trust the play testing team. @Villon told everybody that the book was ok. We could use the old saying that people actually judged this book by its cover. LOL. Or, that this dog had a lot of bark, but no teeth. I’m curious to see the update. Hope things didn’t go too far the other way.

  • This is why I toot the horn of the Supplements. I think that they can be tailored more to what players like Marcos really want. So when that happens, I don’t like the “refusal to play” because its “not balanced”. I can see the KOE LaB being full of variety and the 2 supplements being those that offer themes that fit the other interests. These Supplements are also used as a way to fit in cool things that wouldn’t fit in the grander scope of the LABs.

  • Quote from Stygian: “I feel like there is plenty of design space available while still keeping with KOEs human identity. Just some examples of what I could see being explored without treading too far into the high fantasy realm: Nobility- Mounted knights, large mounted knights, Non mounted knights, lords, ladies Professional soldiers- mounted melee/ranged, melee infantry, ranged infantry, professional leaders Non professional- melee and ranged infantry- hunters and trackers, hounds, falconers, c…

  • Quote from Bretboy84: “Quote from skipschnit: “The KoE Knight lovers could be satisfied with one of the Supplements that would accompany the LAB. Per our game wide design guidelines, the LAB needs to be around 30 units and defined Multiple playstyles. We also want armies to be unique and a pure human faction is the same as EOS, isnt it? So, I don’t know what the KOE will look like or when it will get here, so I’m just engaging in dialogue to get a feel. The Supplement books are by guidelines a g…

  • Noted.

  • That is an interesting idea, the reduction of Area Attacks by 1x1. I would have to say that it would have to be a minimum so that items like bolt throwers 1x5, were not reduced to 0x4 as that wouldn’t work. But perhaps the area attack cannot be reduced to a value below 1 as a disclaimer.

  • Quote from 20phoenix: “Its from the Giants supplement ” Which is also getting an update soon to include ALL factions/armies.

  • 1. Father Chaos - Pont l'Eveque 2. Gluttony - Mozzarella 3. Greed - Parmesan 4. Lust - Gouda 5. Envy - Swiss 6. Pride - Camembert 7. Sloth - Cheddar 8. Wrath - Roquefort

  • What types of glue are you using? I’ve had issues when the humidity is off, the residue on the parts, or the glue has settled (didn’t know that you have to shake up the cryo-type glues) So, I’d like to know, too.

  • Ah ha. Damned fine print. Haha. Thanks.

  • Quote from Odoamar: “Quote from Kaneador: “BBS. Very different of flintlock, lees powerfull than i thought. Played in a bastión with slaves and they shoot one at 5+ then SS at 6+, and then they are charged. All those shoots with Battle Focus. I couldnt test Dart units, but The 25 Guy unit with shields is a bit overcosted. Titan mortar with sharpnell and The non kadaai ammo. Good, powerfull but you pay for It. The sharpnell is a bit meh becouse The opponent can choose The objetive. ” Battle focus…

  • I think the Mist Leviathan is a nice touch. Combined with the ID Bastion, it shows a potential direction that T9A is looking at for getting new concepts into the LABs and making it more creative.

  • Also, put a notice on the Team USA Facebook page and the other groups. Some don’t come to the forums. Make sure you keep your eye out for the events in VA to start up again soon and the ones on UB.

  • Taken from the OnG book.... However, if a unit moves into contact with a Ricochet model, it immediately (before completing the move) suffers X+D6 hits, and the model with Ricochet is removed as a casualty. This is not triggered by moves that can move through units normally (e.g. Flying Movement), unless the move is ended in contact (note that units can move into contact with multiple Ricochet models simultaneously). Note the part in bold. A Sweeping Attack is a special “ranged” attack, that is p…

  • @WhammeWhamme Wow! Many pages since your reply on the oil "X". LOL... In either case, the units with that ability should be flammable. Whether they toss it on enemy and stab with spears (I mean, in this swirling melee, cross contamination should be a possibility), or launching it in pots at the enemy, there should be a possibility/probability of an oops and breakage. It a small thing in the big picture, but one that bugs me the most. Like I said before, it is really the only thing in the whole b…

  • Feedback question: Why aren’t units with Oil skins flammable themselves? The rest of the book, I’m ok with.

  • Quote from Eisenheinrich: “Quote from Chronocide: “@Eisenheinrich Is this right? ” Yes ” Whew.
