Italeri do a selection of WW2 vehicles in 28mm 1/56 scale for a very reasonable price.

  • Must admit that Litoperez has given you very solid advice with above. If you are using the list as a stand alone 3000 v 3000 game, I would use the spare pts to upgrade the Kts of the Sun Griffon with Lances otherwise imho it is good to go as written. However, if you are having a 2 v 2 player game. ( I am making the assumption that you will be most likely be sharing the magic dice.) If so, I feel that with the Arcane Engines bound spell you have probably have 1 too many spells. ( lets face it you…

  • Welcome to the Empire. If you have any questions re any list, I would seriously recommend that you start a new Thread under list building. You will find it in the EofS subsection of the Forum. I am sure you will get all the help you need. Don't worry about results at first, just enjoy yourself, the results will come !!!

  • Quote from Idum: “The "Count" column is actually the most important in this table. It speaks of the popularity of the army but also of the reliability of the rankings, i.e. for BH & UD even a single player's different performance could sway their rank completely. ” I would go slightly further than that tbh. Out of the 8 UD players, I would rate 7 of them as VERY EXPERIENCED UD players so would be expected to do well. Conversely, the ID players where dealing with a brand new Book, and therefore I…

Quote from jirga: “Have you watched World War Two channel on YouTube? It goes through the war day by day and covers all possible fronts. They have done great job with the historical accuracy. YouTube algorithms first offered the channel to me with it's Finnish Winter War coverage which surprised me with the amount of details they had gathered. This convinced me that rest of their episodes are done with similar attention to detail. (Hidden Content) ” Many thanks, Will look it up when I get the ch…

Never heard about it before. The garrison appears to have 600 strong but from the San Marco Regiment ( Italian Marines ). Many thanks for the info …

  • Whilst I have absolutely NO insider information re possible changes a reduction for the TG would not be a complete surprise. Here's hoping anyway. I note from your post that you mention TG, Spearmen and Shabti. Have you ever consider going Terracotta ? The 3 of them are the corner stone of many a Terracotta List.

Whilst I appreciate that your Chariots were Lgts, therefore mobile, with what I would perceive as a shortage of Chaff did you have many problems with any mobile / flying List's?

  • I actually don't mind my opponent being Fearless. Means that he can't flee from the Chariot Charge.

Quote from Paradox 01: “So I took the plunge and started buying models for my 4500pt UD Barrow Legion army (see spoiler). ” I wish you well. I do honestly believe that the Barrow Legion Option is far stronger than most players realise. So welcome to the Dark Side. Are you really, really sure that you want to use an Archer Bunker ? I find Double Ark far superior. Quote from Mad 'At: “I was never much of a fan of the Mantic undead. ” Why limit it to their Undead ? Not a fan at all myself.

Ah, brings back memories, WW2, 28mm, those were the days. Still have a lot of Italians and ( somewhere ) a half completed German 239th Strumgeschutz Brigade. I always used the Italians upto mid 43 after which I started the Germans ( unit formed 1st July 1943 ) for later war. ( missed Kursk but was in existence ). I loved using the 239th as they were still using Panzer 2s ( yes thats right Panzer 2s) up until Jan 1945. Total unit strength was 31 x Stug 111s ( 22 x 75mm, 9 x 105mm ), 14 x Pz 2Ls. …

  • Quote from Shakin_Dudi: “Questions to terrakota players: 1. How tomb guards works (30 models with reletless and halbardes) ? Are they easy to kill ? Are they worth the points ? What can kill them ? 2. Chariots in core. Do they really need legion charioteer ? Are they playable without pharaon inside ? Is there a big difference in power between 3 and 4 chariots ? ” I Find it somewhat difficult to answer questions like above as the correct answer depends ( on many occasions ) as to the Role the uni…

I get above average results with my ( somewhat unusual ) IG GWs Deathstar List BUT..... I really struggle ( Read : Normally get hammered ) with Gunline Builds. Maybe…

  • TBH, much to my shame, I have never used Terracotta. This is despite having some form of Chariot Fetish dating back to the early 1970s when my first Army ( WRG Ancients Kushite Egyptian ) was heavily Chariot Based. I have a very strong Barrow Legion list and am quite happy with with my Spear Block List under Normal UD. So the Terracotta list is literally a catch all list whose main ambition is to hoover up those units that have not made the cut in the other 2 lists. IE..Necro Guard, Cataphracts,…
