  • Quote from Marcos24: “Actually yeah I’d like to do the sword in the stone! I’ll also do a Virgin Mary statue to double for a historical game terrain piece for crusaders and other typical western lands. I’m wondering what would fit for more practical objective markers. Like, not something that would just look cool but would would actually look like something someone would fight over on the field. For example in a sci-fi game, a computer console where the objective could be to input certain a or s…

  • Quote from jaith1: “@SirVelinn I am hesitant to agree that KoE need to expand their close combat prowess beyond the current might duke (where you suggest in-built divine+LR on grail oath). Should KoE be able to field a variety of CC-potent dukes? Sure. Should the only way to play KoE (in a viable manner) be to have characters doing the heavy lifting? No. I stress this because there are people that like to play ‘low fantasy’ armies and it’s no surprise they might flock to KoE. One aspect of ‘low …

  • Quote from CariadocThorne: “Do KoE actually need highly elite combat characters? ” Yes as short answer. As long as the army lacks hard in grinding and has almost zero safe play options we need characters inside a lance who can deal some dmg so that not every normal infantry unit breaks us when they charge after we failed an avg charge Buffing the unit = EoS thing

  • Quote from CariadocThorne: “I remain of the opinion that as the pinnacle of "ordinary" humanity, the best KoE characters should be at a roughly similar level of eliteness to the best elven combat characters. Definitely not more elite. ” Oh give us sliver and i am happy or the countercharge lance

  • Quote from Giladis: “Quote from Casp: “Quote from Giladis: “While thematically fitting the nature of fantasy knights and not impossible to eventually design I still think it will be a nightmare to get right for the reasons I mentioned. ” Well KOE already got this kind of design with audacity and quest...not look such a nightmare for turnament ? ” They conceptually fall into the same category I agree but at the same time their application is either rather broad or not really impactful to achieve …

  • That is a first ludaman and i really like that because it goes into the hero spam and lead by example for which KoE is famous. Here is a difference between koe and eos some dont know. EoS have strategist leading the army from behind. Think like napoleon. KoE have tactians leading the army in the front row and by example.

  • I get heroes of might and magic vibes here. Oh its your turn now! I come back in 30mins to make my turn

  • Quote from Just_Flo: “The good news your ginat is printed to a third, the bad news is I have to check the calibration of my printer to print the other 2 thirds. Above is now bought. ” I did pay you for your tournament. But did i pay for the giant? how much you need?

  • Quote from Il Maestro: “Quote from Klexe: “While i love an active community please keep in mind we are all people behind the monitor so keep it civil The only rule for a "charge, and charge and charge again" feeling is something like BH battle focus. That a KoE units with lance and who is winning combat can pass an LD test to count as charging in the next phase again (only vs targets which were in contact before) I thought long about but every rule where you move the unit and be it disengage and…

  • @Just_Flo These look nice too

  • I bought once. normal spanish postal service Norba is fine nothing to complain from my side but the spanish postal is meh and takes time

  • Quote from SirMC2015: “that is one thing I will say- KoE has a balance currently. I don’t want to see that balance lost, but I do think it could be expanded and still have internal and external balance. Grails do need a change, but I just don’t want players to lose models either. As I said- balance (or juggling). ” As people already confuse grails and other knight units i dont see that as problem

  • Any sneak possible?

  • Quote from Il Maestro: “As a non-KoE player I admit I don't know much about the issues facing your book, but... Would some sort of rule allowing a cavalry unit to 'run through' an opponent be in any way helpful? Like I'm sort of thinking that if the grinding aspect is a problem, maybe playing in the trope/theme of cavalry smashing aside smaller infantry models and coming out the back - think Riders of Rohan in the Battle of Pellenor Fields, or even the way cavalry can be 'clicked through' units …

  • Even before Core tax was a relic of the past. Yes here and there there were some obvious problems but the team tried its best to minimise this problem

  • about infantry/cavalry. It means that some people want infantry like forlorn knights more which do not need cavalry at all. Or lets say infantry lists should be as viable as cavalry list Me personally i want "important" infantry but its rules should excel with cavalry nearby

  • Quote from McBaine: “@Klexe should have a decent overview about the current leanings of the community. I think he gathered many voiced opinions in the past with exactly that purpose if I'm not mistaken. I would be interested in an overview, what the majority wants. Just to get a feel. If I had the numbers, I would do it myself. I would love a poll for the most controversial things, the problem would only be, if it would be representative, or only representative for the people who are active in t…

Quote from Tyranno: “Quote from Klexe: “I find it a little bit funny that people say that getting -1 to wound to s5 or higher is weak. I have never heard anyone saying my 5+ blessing vs s5 is weak^^ ” Well because a 5++ is generally better than -1 to wound. Plus it is more perceivable by players. Example; I faced a KoE player the other week, passed about +75% of his 5++ saves, felt annoying as hell. That I can see and feel in the game on a much greater level than looking at dice and pointing out…
