  • Dont see how just giving it telepathic link and maybe the H spell as a bound wouldnt be balanced for 30-40pts but I'm sure you had reasons. That's basically a bad stygiosaur but a bit cheaper. I'm a huge fan to telepathic link(still hoping for a 20pt artefact that gives the rule to the bearer) but I'm aware I'm in the minority. Can't really see the giants out competing stegs in the army though.

    I believe its a combination of fluff and monstrous infantry in general not getting access to them outside OK. Honestly I cant remember the exact justification given the last time we asked for it but it was a firm no. May of course change when the LAB comes around.

  • Changes, not sure honestly. Griffon died embarrassingly a couple of times but that was luck or user error more than anything else so I'm not quite ready to drop him after his sterling showing games 5&6. Artillery was a disappointment most games and probably the units I'm closest to dropping. Not sure what I'd replace them with.   • Hi all, As part of the Celtic cup 2 16man event I played EOS recently. The tournament format was 4 man groups(top 2 proceeded) then knockout and army draft, where players were ranked and the lowest ranked players picked their army first(only one of each army allowed). I was ranked the highest due to winning the Celtic cup 1 and got left with EOS as the last pick.   • There's a decent idea, design your dino competition. If we get a new gigantic monster what would people want it to look like? Assume as @Dancaarkiiel says that we get feral Carnousaur added to the list via copy paste, what else would be cool/useful?     um, minor point. A trained solider hitting you with a sword is s3. There's plenty of things between that and tripping and falling.

  • Not a fan of bumping skinks up to res3. SA has always been the trade off between the tough but slow saurus and the fast but squishy skinks, bumping the skinks up to res 3 takes away from the identity of the army. If you want to see more Saurus designs @Darkwise then my best advice is get designing! Come up with some new role that doesnt overlap with existing units. Instead of giving skink hunters s4 make a light troops saurus unit with throwing weapons. Maybe a feral saurus unit with 5+ armour b…

  • To answer some questions I agree the shooting skinks need a limit, currently its 0-4. I'd keep that but could see 0-3, if 0-3 and a saurus min unit is exactly min core then 0-4 is fine(cos the power gamers will take 3 and a bunker) so long as that isnt min core unless maxed out, 4*20 is currently over core and fine so I'd say 0-4 is probably ok assuming the base 10 guys are 120 with javs(extras at 9ppm), 100 with bows.
