    I happened also to me to overestimate what a spear block can do and get deleted in one turn, but hey we are improving, next time there will be set countercharges set to make sure that it either don't happen or get punished if it happens

    I can see the issue, in general elves and other elitè armies are a bad matchup for our cavalry, that's why i think that a big unit of vassals it's needed, some cheap scoring bodies that can't be broken in a round to shove in the no man land to force the opponent hand have been invaluable for me, in some matchups they were the only unit that i could expose safely. A castle/gunline/countercharge hbe list seems an horrendous matchup for the makhar, i'd probably try some bold play with crossed finge…

    My Koe opponent had the murder duke on hyppo and the pegasus knights, the duke was constantly harrassed by the flayers and the mage (and killed more than once), one game he managed to do a lot of damage but more because it's killy than because it's flying, the pegasus knights also were harrassed by the flayers in some occasion and in another they were annoying but not on that much, not having ranks it's a pretty big downside against my big units, i can totally see kestrel knights being extremely…

    A big unit with spear and shiel plus giant with tribal spear is a mainstay for me, i was starting to consider using two of them with my chief general on war dais giving battlefocus on the other. (may or may not be related to me being a poor player and failing miserably with the big unit of lancers plus chief) A funny thing i noticed is that vassals are capped at 40 per unit and 80 per army, while all elven spearmen have a cap of 50 per unit and no model cap, i get that we should focus on cavalry…

  • The Gyula with Hawtorne Curse would be able to march and shoot if you upgrade him with light troops,vanguard and feigned flight, not to mention vanguard with one of the units and then dart out on his own to a better shooting position since you only have 18" range. And after that we get frenzied militant that goes into battle with just a light armor (wich is basically being naked in T9A terms) ? Maybe in setting a light armor is valued more ?     9 it's because you need to kill 3 instead of 2 for panic, i thougth of reverting to 8 for reducing the footprint somehow This list was for trying the Karkadan Herd, usually instead of them you would see a unit of 7 chosen knight with lances, musician and champion Against spears i usually just use my own spears unit but this time i deployed badly and the spears were too well supported
