  • Hmmm. My other option the. Is to use the end times manfredd model as a normal zombie dragon and the actual model for a colossal one. I was saving the end times one for a monstrous revenant.... 59586bb8-27e3-43d5-b8a3-f7aec758cccb

  • Quote from 20phoenix: “Quote from KhaN9292: “But if you place it on a plattform of cork, to resemble a rock, maybe it would work ” This is what I've done. 8TBCfE3.jpg I also put magnetic sheet on the bottom of the base so I can attach it to a 100x150 base should I want to go colossal ” Thankyou! This is exactly what I was looking for! I’d also magnetise it so it could do into a bigger base. If you didn’t use the cork would the feet still fit on the narrow base?

  • Great models! I’m awaiting delivery of roughly the same lost kingdom stuff so glad to see how good they are!

  • Hi guys, I was after some advice. I have the GW zombie dragon and was wondering if anyone knows whether it would fit on a 50x100mm base? I don’t really want to play it as a colossal dragon, but it is a big model! I have a feeling that I’ve seen a photo of someone who managed to mount it on a smaller base? Any help would be appreciated!

  • Pleeeeease don’t invalidate the big based engine!!!! I’ve just got an epic model to convert for it and it fits a 100x150 base perfectly!

  • Coffee stirrers and pva glue, throw in some green stuff rope and what Evers in your bits box!

Quote from Villon: “the easy step regarding infernal engine is one of a kind. I will not use 2 of them, i tried and create frustration to oponents (some of them) And we spend a lot of ponts... ” I could put up with one of a kind so long as the option for a large based infernal engine still exits! Purely for modelling perspectives! (I have purchased my engine but am holding off building it till this is confirmed!)

  • I thought the H spell could be a granting of flaming attacks. So the ID army would likely get reroll to wounds (if they’d made stuff flammable). However the spell could be universal so you could chose to cast it on your opponent to activate your flaming ward. I think it’s quite thematic and useful offensively and defensively. My only thought was that it makes Kadims rather good!

  • As long as you enjoyed the game that’s the most important thing! Will you keep playing empire of sonnstahl? In future games will you still be playing the 2x2 against the same armies? Out of all of my armies I’ve always found EoS to be the most jack of all trades army so I’d recommend it for starting out. How would you change your list now you’ve played a game?

Ha! I wouldn’t be so sure! It would be nice to get some use out of my miniatures though! They’ve been boxed up for too long! I’m hoping to get at least one army painted to a decent tabletop standard though, it’ll only have taken me 25 years.

Unfortunately there is no Ninth scene in Hereford, at least that I’m aware of. As such I haven’t had a game in about two years! I’m considering hopping on a train to Cardiff myself! I’ve heard good things about the vale renegades, hopefully T9A is still going strong there!!

Where abouts in Wales are you? I’m not a member of the vale renegades club but I know it’s pretty friendly and active with T9A. I think there’s might also be one in Newport? I live over the border in Hereford so I’m considering joining and making the journey!

I didn’t think the artificers special rule (ready aim fire) would work with the Reiters as they’re neither a parent unit or support unit?

  • Quote from PTG-Lucky-Sixes: “Quote from bendaffurn: “Loving the batreps guys! Any chance of some infernal dwarf ones with the new rules book?? ” Ooooo I should think so!!! Although, I will say we have made some strides to get some ACTUAL REAL LIFE games in recently. So if you can put up with us for a few weeks then i'm sure we'll have some fire-breathing stunties on the channel for your viewing pleasure!!! Also... save the date guys - 10th August. HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT for PTG coming your way... ” .…

  • I really need the motivation to paint so, though it’s late I’m going to jump on the band wagon if that’s ok! I’m painting a VC strigoi themed list, and as I’ve already started I’ll add some photos of my ghasts. They still need some flock on their bases but they’re painted (at least to my standard!)

  • That smokey Guy is from bloodkeep miniatures, though I don’t think they’re trading anymore. I have him and will use him as a Kadim Titan and maybe a scourge as he’s big enough. Stunning model!

  • Great battle rep guys, really enjoyed it. Have you considered you tube? (Though I do still enjoy a written one). Can I ask, is there anything in your ID list that you think is Consistently OP? Do you think the book is complicated to play, and/or requires point adjustments? Thanks again for the batrep

  • Hi I'm struggling to understand the blunderbuss rules. Is it as simple as each hit equals two hits (three with battlefocus)? What if the unit is shooting at a single model, or a unit smaller than itself? Is it still each hit = two? Thanks

    - Read it through once and quite simply love it! Well done team! Maybe some bits are a bit OP , but as a whole I think the book is authentic, exciting, and full of great options both rules wise and modelling wise. Love it
