  • Quote from Thunderforge: “From a fluff point of view Dwarf Holds shouldn't have as much poweras Infernal Dwarfs in the Magic or Artillery sections. The way I see it, Infernal Dwarfs sacrificed morality for power. ” I like this. How could we represent it? Is a bit of Bodyguard and unbreakable enough?

Normal, it is high grade blood, with a slight malt and oak wood flavour. Most vampires end up in an ethyl coma and after that they can only drink elf blood with a straw.

  • Planning with ten years seems too hasty to me, it sounds like something a young miner's apprentice would do

  • Moon runes that only dwarves know, my friend, like the door of Moria or the door to enter the lonely mountain of the Hobbit. It is not a hole dug quickly, it is a tunnel hidden from the view of our enemies

  • Quote from Sander: “Damn, this tunnel rule is exactly something i hoped was left for DH miners. I really like the idea and even see it as fitting to VS too. It is pity though, as i realize this option is already realized here now. @Lakson @WarX ” You are right. Leave that to DH. I don't imagine the rats coming out of a hole in a formation, rather I imagine them coming out quickly in all directions and sizes. Just put X markers on the table. Units at 6" standard infantry recover 1d6 models +1d6 i…

First of all. I'm glad to see orange labels on two of our most illustrious DH players. Congratulations @berti and @Loghaire! Overperforming units (underpriced): Anvil. I'm surprised but I see the points. Rune spam is good, especially with -1 to wound. Blacksmiths are expensive and have a short range. The anvil offers efficiency for its points in a reduced investment if you put it together with the rune standard of wisdom. You can play with MSU or blocks, while the blacksmith having a shorter ran…

@Thunderforge I can't see it, it says I don't have the qualifications. How strange, am I the only one who gets it?

Usually when I paint I am not aware of what is going on around me. A couple of years ago I would go to a friend's house at night to paint, we would put a hard drive with random films on it and we would only look when the film was over or a crazy sentence out of context would manage to penetrate the brain. After that I would go home at about 5 AM or so, these are things you can do when you're single. One of those times we were painting almost at 4 AM, and I heard a glass breaking, but my brain to…

I understand that GW's LotR scale is a little smaller than Warhammer's despite being from the same company, but if you don't mix models from different companies it doesn't show much

  • I don't like the idea of combining two artilleries in a bigger one, it sounds like Transformers. I think you could pay a little more, in the case of Bolt thrower and flame thrower, to be able to put the weapon that benefits you the most in that game, besides that you can adjust the power level to be closer

  • @WarX Well, we could say that DH carries a chassis or artillery structure (light or heavy) and when it deploys the army it mounts the top of the weapon depending on what is in front of it. We are craftsmen, we make gears, we are strong to carry heavy materials. It could be. It also approaches the concept of chassis ID without being really equal.

  • Quote from WarX: “@Chronocide Nice idea, but it will not work. The problem is price spread between cheapest and most expensive. If Flame Cannon is for 145pts and Cannon for 250 allowing to switch mode from Cannon to Flame Cannon will mean steal of 100pts... ” I see it. I think it's a very original idea. It is true that there are two types of war machines. The cheap ones, of 100/150 points and the expensive ones, about 300 points or more. We only have to make 2 units, Light artillery, 150pts you …

I love anvils, they are an incredible centrepiece from a design opportunity point of view and open a great window to creativity in the military, which is normally quite limited as there are many very similar models. I just want to say that they have brought two very nice homemade models. I would like to see more.

  • Dwarves with magicians is more out of the question than dwarves with cavalry. The LAB will bring changes but not 180-degree turns. It can be presented as "dwarves with battle runes" and "dwarves without battle runes a bit more anti-magic". Dwarves with magic is already in a separate book. It is not an option. Although we are free to continue exploring and debating interesting ideas that that path will uncover, it can lead to great suggestions, but don't be under any illusions about wizards.

  • Quote from xaby86: “Given the kind of innovative ideas they have applied in the LAB DE to highlight their advantages without going down the most logical paths (because of their guidelines) I think something like this would be a good form of magic defence. For example for every spell that the enemy successfully casts, DH gains something. So it soon occurs to me that for every successful enemy spell, a battle rune of the DH player's choice is automatically activated on any friendly unit. The enemy…

  • wonderful, really good. Some questions. How did you make the grass? Where did you get the castle? Maybe some kind of 3D printing? The character who is not Belegar, which company is he from? And above all, post pictures of that other two-storey stage, please!

  • Quote from Kreln: “On Runic magic. Bound spells should be 5/9 and also We need at least one 'missile' rune/spell. That's it. There are more important issues. ” To give some excitement I would do 4+1d3/7+1d3. It's still the same mechanics but it has a little variability which is what makes the magic funny
