  • This would be a controversial opinion, but if it is necessary, I would prefer to get rid of the levies at all, and use some other kind of troops that actually sinergize with our cavalry. I know that there are people who likes peasants. But, if given the option that we can get rid of the peasants to have a good heavy cavalry army, I would gladly give them away, even though I own a ton of models... Basically I'm here for the Knights . Of course that is not gonna happen, but if anyone else want the…

  • Couldn't play because of the pandemic, going to play in a tournament in a week or so, if I find them, I will give some feedback.

  • Quote from Sir_Sully: “Quote from 00TnT00: “You can't decide that because there are some players which can win at tournaments with an underpowered army the army has to stay underpowered. In top tournaments KoE is doing good because it's handled by good players with a lot of experienced and they are cared for when choosing the opponent. And still, there are armies faring better and practically every other army is taken more, so that tells you about the state of the army, though it still has some …

  • Quote from Nicreap: “Quote from dan: “I think he means access to more passive buffs, such as EoS’ easy access to Hatred and Lightning Reflexes. As a KoE opponent, the Divination-based solution is problematic when the damage is entirely charge dependent. I know to hold my dice for anything that makes it easier for the Knights to hit on the turn they charge, and can then focus on stopping defensive buffs in subsequent turns once they’ve been pinned in place. ” But EoS is about synergy, while KoE i…

  • Quote from Sir_Sully: “Quote from IntrigueAtCourt: “KOTR had 1 attack and the same durability in an era where dragon princes had 1 st5 attack no LR, swordmasters had 1 st5 attack no LR but ignored GW penalty, hammerers had 1 st6 attack and no sturdy, etc. Those are the only grounds on which I would say buffs are warranted. I think most or all of koe's problems are external to the book: External power creep, the extreme anti-ap nature of toxic attacks (should be st2 imo), the rampancy of easily a…

  • Really hope to see the background and guidelines as an avid fan. Hope it translates well in the feeling of the army and have high hopes seeing who are involved. Cheers for all of you. Also, sorry for bringing a topic which shouldn't be here, but it is possible to volunteer as a playtester when an alpha or beta of the book is available? I only play KoE and have reasonable experience with them in tournament and casual play, so I would like to help if at all possible, for a Spanish meta perspective…

  • Cavalry and being armour your only defense are in a bad spot right now. It is a better defense to bring more wounds with high resilience, as ap is everywhere (a meager human with lance, with ap banner, goes to ap3 in the first round of combat). Also, KoE lacks stability. I really hope this issues are taken into consideration, few wounds with high armour are currently one of the worst models of defense in this game. Please, bring us stability so that KoE attracts more tournament players (here in …

  • Any idea when the guidelines for the LAB will be published to the community?

  • Quote from AEnoriel: “Quote from 00TnT00: “Now as KoE we don't have: Chariots Monstrous cavalry Monstrous infantry Monsters that aren't mounts Please, can anyone point to me another army which is more restricted in it's units types? Could we please start to comprehend that we are at the bottom of variety and diversity? ” Dwarven Holds don't have :no standard cavalry no monstrous cavalry no monsters move 3" Agi 3 ! Do you really believe a brain impulse takes longer to reach the arm with the weapo…

  • Now as KoE we don't have: Chariots Monstrous cavalry Monstrous infantry Monsters that aren't mounts Please, can anyone point to me another army which is more restricted in it's units types? Could we please start to comprehend that we are at the bottom of variety and diversity? If anyone have a good understanding of Spanish, I would suggest the video linked below. youtu.be/bP56VEkR19U We should stop every time looking to uphold our vision of the army, and start acknowledging the problems new and …

  • I'm in for hippogriffs knights

  • Don't really mind, about the rebasing, I mean. But It would be more interesting if it becomes an option. Not really important in my opinion

  • 1. I personally like the hierarchy but It shouldn't limit too much, in terms if equipment and options. Also as already said, not everyone can become a grail knight, they should be very rare, but incredibly potent, because they have achieved the pinnacle of what knighthood represent by besting all odds against them, and have ascended to something more, not just human. Because of this, there should be the intention of becoming like them and be taken as inspiration, so questing knights should be mo…

  • I'm sorry, but at least in my experience, I don't see we are as balanced in power level as some are talking. Maybe with raw data it's possible to accept that fact, but we are a verte difficult army to play that punish every mistake we do. Comparing It to practically any other army which are not charge dependant to deliver it's máximum output, and i think we need a Buff or redesign to make ya easier to play in our intended playstyles. At least in the important tournaments in Spain, it's difficult…

  • Do both, hippos and supernal

  • I have to agree with @Julian the apostate here, if you just look at what we pay for our knights, comparing them with knights that actually see play like the ones on VC and WDG, it's ridiculous that we are always looking for us not to be op...just look at the stats and possibilities they bring to the table, the Aegis is still not worth the payload

  • Really like them

  • I'm 100% with @StoffenDK about design choices. One use item that doesn't work always, like the binding scroll and have powerful enough impact in the game are not going to be taken. Oriflamme already doesn't work against three armies and fearless units or fear causing units negates part of it's use. The storm is already a team tournament item because in singles you are probably not likely to face a lot of flying units...so please, think about alternatives that offer more stability

  • Then make the standard give hate all turns

  • Oriflamme has problems, because we are paying a lot of points for an item we might not use if we face certain armies or units
