Even when BH were one of the top armies (1.3 era)there still wasn't a large amount of players around. So I don't think it's player base is proportionate to its power level.

Gotcha. I knew you needed to reserve a spot to play and didn't know if they would limit space to games they sell. That being said I have a gaming table in my basement and can easily set up more with folding tables if people ever want to play. I just don't have terrain or play mats. I live off Willows Rd down near the base.

So you guys back to playing at High Tide? One of the 40k guys I know (whose interested in trying T9A) mentioned he saw people playing there a week or two ago. I'm also close to getting my friend who quit back to playing since the rules changes have calmed down.

Awesome, thanks for the response. Hopefully that will be good enough to get him back playing as I miss the rank and file wargames. Funnily enough I just picked up some old Bretonnians and plan on using them as KoE for a bit so interested to see what changes will be in store for them.

So I'm sure this has been asked and answered but can't seem to find it, but how often are army book updates happening? I know each army is getting an overhaul, but I'm trying to get back into T9A and convince my friend to come back along with me, but what drove us away from the game was the constant changes to the army books (seemed like everytime we went to play a game a new update to the book happened and changed our lists). Thanks!

Since this thread has motivated to make an empire halfling army (been wanting to do it for awhile), anyone have any ideas for flagellants or KotSG? Most of the other stuff I can piece together and make work (won't be exactly WYSIWYG, ie, militia might have now's instead of pistols) but can't find any that would work for those two units. I may just end up using dwarf berserkers as flagellants. At least they're stumpy
