DE ranged units must be close to the front line not peppering from afar. Through various iterations of academy rules, pricing revisions, looking at mmu/msu, "core tax" and much more,, things settled as you see.

unfortunately psychology based effects at best have a chance to work half the time when half of the units out there are fearless in one form or another and don't care. Psychology rules need to be look at when any 3.0 reboot is begun.

Temple Legate is being looked at. Not sure where things will end up yet. But I will say definitively. Temple Legate was not nerfed due to any notion that is was being taken to much or auto include. It was purely priced to low from the start. It was corrected. It could still go up in price, it could receive small changes, or even whole redraft but the first 30 point increase was simply bringing it in line with a more appropriate starting cost.
