A Dwarven View of their Infernal Kindred Yes, my boy. Them Drigniz... Infernal Dwarves... they ain’t right folk. Left the mountain a long time ago. But the mountain never left them, see? Gets them building mountains where there are none. Want to show who’s better. Want to be better than the mountains, I reckon. Better than iron, too. Better than gold, gams an’ truesilver. Got no respect for the mountain or its gifts no more. Slavers? Aye, can’t make gold kneel before you, eh? But what honest dwa…

The Nature of Dwarves Dwarves are perhaps the most indomitable of beings. Magic, corruption, disease, aging – they resist all these with a force of will centuries after others would have succumbed. Yet theirs is a troubled history, for while the two greatest of the dwarven civilisations once worked together for a time, their Empire was undone by the many calamities of the Ages of Ruin, with each side claiming betrayal and shaming their brothers. Still, both retain the ingenuity of their forefath…

Dear Sage. I have fought alongside the Dwarf Lords on several occasions. Among them was a strange cult of half-naked dwarves, called Seekers, and I noticed that among them there were some different ones but I didn't quite understand why. So my question is... what is the difference between a Seeker and a vengeance Seeker?

I think since this issue didn't have any Background in it, you guys could double the ration in the next issue. Maybe an extra special issue of BG?

Quote from Ironclad: “The Problem with our low moment is not m4 or m5 infantry blocks it is all super fast single models. So a solution would be to make us great against single models, either by combat buffs like protection from impact hits and stomps or mobile shooting like all champions can take a qtf worm slayer rocket type weapon. I want the dwarfs to be better in the grind, one option is to give +1 fight in extra rank for every combat round after the first. Fluff, dwarfs use superior discip…

In the LAB I'm doing, there are several tools to reduce enemy movement, although those mechanics are still a bit basic, I've focused my efforts on other points for the moment but I'll come back to it. For example, the copter can buy a bombard option or an oil throw option, which reduces movement but does no damage, the FWs shoot jets of fire that scare beasts and cavalry of any size, I originally thought they should make a Dis roll or get Shaken, but this could be OP, so maybe I changed it to re…

Males and Females, Kings and Queens Are dwarves patriarchal, or are there dwarven queens? — An interesting point, which strikes at dwarven society on a wider level. Dwarves appear to have little regard for gender. Male and female dwarves can be clearly distinguished, but aside from the duties of childrearing, they both participate at all levels of dwarven society. The word “King” is our best translation for their title, yet there are no gender specific titles, and no special honours afforded to …

PostI am very sorry not to have brought better news. As a consolation, I have opened this thread, which although it is not much, I hope you will like it and that it will alleviate some of your thirst for knowledge. BG DH and other stories

Well, maybe this short story has not satisfied your hunger for BG, so I will post a longer and more enlightening one, which will surely bring a lot of debate in our forum and great ideas in the Brainstorming thread. Magic and Runelore The Dwarves of Vetia shun the nether powers, unlike their eastern brethren. But if a hold-dwarf were to learn magic somehow, what would happen to him? Would he be shunned, exiled, imprisoned, executed? If executed, could he find refuge with his eastern kin? — I can…

Sons of the Mountain As tough as the mountains themselves, and with memories that last almost as long, many dwarves carve their homes from the very bones of the earth. Forgers of the finest works of steel and gold, they are as mighty as they are determined. Should you try to take that which is theirs, you will face the full vengeance of the Dwarven Holds! Though the Dwarven Empire fell at the end of the Golden Age, the Holds still control the most lucrative mines of Vetia, producing the finest a…

I don't think I'm the only one on this forum who loves stories apart from epic games. Maybe I even prefer a good story more. That's why I think it's necessary to compile all the knowledge of our BG in one thread, so that both the veteran and the new users can enjoy it, in the sun with a pipe, if possible. Unfortunately we don't have as much as we would like. T9A is tstill a young world, a world that is building itself at great speed. For the moment, I'm going to put the stories that the T9A webs…

PostWell, I'm here. I wasn't quite sure who I should have gone to with this request, so I went to ask BG, as they seemed the closest to this issue and if they weren't the right ones, I was convinced they would point me to the right place. What I have been told is that they are still working on the rune system, although there must be some already made runes for the weapon runes and some others that have nothing to do with the runes in the game. Be that as it may, there is nothing available to reveal …

Greetings. Browsing Facebook I saw an advert for a 3D printer file from a Smith that I thought was really cool. It says it's free, so enjoy it if you can. The news was longer, with pictures of the painted model, but unfortunately it disappeared from my wall and I couldn't find it again. Luckily I took a screenshot of this photo. loot-studios.com/dwarf-blacksmith
